This press conference was in the afternoon following a 45 minute telephone call between Zelenskyy and Marco Rubio while the Ukraine President was traveling by train to Norway. The tone of Zelenskyy in this press conference was substantially different than hours before he talked to Secretary Rubio. Substantively, with all of the recent developments on the Starlink story, it sounds to me like this was the conversation where Rubio essentially said to Zelenskyy we know what you are doing (manipulating Starlink to target inside Russia), and Zelenskyy didn't refute the matter because he couldn't. Hence, the tone change. U.S. and EU politicians, however, are intentionally obfuscating the difference between Starlink and Starshield in order to create a 'Ukraine victim' narrative for use against @realDonaldTrump and @elonmusk .
This is a very interesting public presser from Ukraine President Zelenskyy, Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Stoere and a subdued Finnish President Alexander Stubb.  This press event follows President Trump Emissary Steve Witkoff meeting with Zelenskyy, Stoere and Stubb. Steve Witkoff leaves Norway and is going to St Petersburg to meet with Russian Federation Vladimir Putin tomorrow. When asked why Witkoff was not present {10:00}, the host PM Jonas Stoere says, “this is a press conference among political leaders,” and then quickly moves on.  Both Stoere and Stubb are very subdued from their prior public statements that put themselves in opposition to the U.S. Trump administration and now suddenly reverse and say it is important for them to remain engaged with the USA effort and for all EU nations to support discussions with Russia. Following Stubb {at 13:00} Zelenskyy notes that Witkoff traveling to meet with Putin tomorrow is very important, and he is very happy that “early warning systems” are working and “it’s great.”  Zelenskyy repeated referenced the call with Secretary Marco Rubio in outlining a shift in tone that is suddenly very appreciative of the USA support.  A very curious shift. As previously noted, there is an early plan for China (Xi), Russia (Putin) and the USA (Trump) to meet on the sidelines of the APEC summit next month in China.  Little man Zelenskyy clarifies his prior comments about a trilateral meeting by saying that his comments were directed to a possible U.S, Russia, Ukraine trilateral meeting and not the APEC sideline. At 16:00 Peter Baker (NYT) obviously notes the tone change visible in this presser and asks about what is going on?  Baker was taken aback when Zelenskyy, Stubb and Stoere affirm the positive and constructive meeting with Steve Witkoff, and “there is nothing to gain” by looking at things said yesterday, said Stoere. Finland President Stubb joins with very complimentary statements of Steve Witkoff affirming his belief this meeting has clarified a lot of issues that now lead toward peace.   “Today was a big success” Stubb emphasized as the press conference concludes. It sounds to me like Secretary Rubio used his linguistic battle skills to pin Zelenskyy on the issue of stirring up trouble and that set up Steve Witkoff for a solid meeting without the EU political drama and narrative constructs of recent weeks. The trio of Zelenskyy, Stoere and Stubb looked considerably smaller in this presser perhaps realizing their miniscule stature in the grand scheme of geopolitical affairs.    It will be very interesting to see how the U.S. media react to this shifted tone from today – particularly as it relates to the New York Times and Peter Baker’s narrative engineering effort. theconservativetreehouse.com…

Vote Yes on 3! The passage of Amendment 3 will be the largest property tax relief in a generation. At the same time, local governments will still take in far more in property tax revenue than they would have had revenues merely kept pace with inflation and population growth since 2019.

1. Against all odds, Florida Democrats today expanded their vote lead to 60,000. This is pre-COVID turnout in a post-COVID world. This is probably not what @FloridaGOP was anticipating. It may also be the reason why @DemGovs just wired David Jolly $1 million.

They Passed Over American Doctors Every year thousands of U.S.-trained physicians are shut out of medical residencies. In 2024 nearly 20 percent of U.S. medical school applicants, that is 8,869 people, failed to match. These are not dropouts or unqualified students. They are graduates who invested years of their lives and hundreds of thousands of dollars in debt only to be told there is no place for them. At the same time more than a quarter of residency slots go to International Medical Graduates, many trained overseas. In 2025 alone 9,761 IMGs matched into U.S. residencies. Some programs favor them because they will work longer hours for less pay and have no leverage to push back. The real choke point is not medical school. It is residency. Congress limits the number of Medicare funded residency slots and that cap has not kept up with the rapid growth in medical school enrollment. Every year this leaves thousands of American doctors unmatched while taxpayer dollars fund the training of foreign physicians who will stay in the U.S. workforce. The Resident Physician Shortage Reduction Act of 2025 would add 14,000 new slots over seven years. Until that happens the U.S. will keep graduating doctors who never get to practice medicine and importing replacements to fill the gaps. --- Citations: • Norton Rose Fulbright – Congressional antitrust investigation of medical residency accreditation and matching programs, 2024 • American Medical Association – “Biggest Match Day Ever? The busybodies who run HOAs are the same kinds of people who tend to run for political office. They want to control every aspect of your life. This is the most significant problem we have in society, and I'm not exaggerating. This email reads like it was written by Democrat Senator Elizabeth Warren. (Also, If I lived in this community I would give every kid who knocked on my door at Halloween an entire carton of 12 full-sized candy bars.)
My HOA sent me a letter requesting that I stop handing out full-size candy bars for Halloween this year. -Fun-size bars are usually 15–25¢ each. -Full-size are around 75¢–$1. Most people give out 2–3 fun-size anyway, so the real difference is often only a few cents per kid. Am I crazy, or is it weird for an HOA to police this?

Tom Homan just declared that the CCP is behind the surge of military-age Chinese men into the US. “You don’t bring tens of thousands of Chinese into this country from China without the coordination of the Chinese government.” “We’re working very close with the [FBI] and intelligence community to find out who is the national security threat.” “We’re making great progress on that.” “When it comes to national security threats, all the government is involved to this day.” @RealTomHoman

The popular drinkware company YETI has updated their site to let you put in the name Jesus Christ The company restricted Jesus Christ but allowed you to customize with the names Satan, Allah, Muhammad and more Only after backlash has the company unrestricted Jesus Christ, previously giving you the error “Sorry, that doesn't fly. Try a different prompt.” Satan, Allah and Mohammed were accepted but of course Jesus was banned This is why you have to apply pressure to these companies and not accept this insanity

WOW 🚨 If you have a printer at home you need to hear this This American has been using her HP Printer at home for 5 years. It’s always worked fine but it kept asking her to connect to WiFi. She’s never connected it, but after nonstop notifications being told she needed to connect it to WiFi or she will lose the ability to print, she finally connected it Now her printer wont print She’s been using cheaper ink in the printer for years, it’s about $40 cheaper per cartridge and works the same As soon as she connected to WiFi the printer updated to restrict the use of her printer with non-official HP INK cartridges She’s so upset she’s in tears and losing it I looked into this and they’re doing it to everyone The message is “The indicated cartridges have been identified as altered or cloned. HP printers require original HP…” That’s the exact error HP uses when Dynamic Security rejects a cartridge chip. Connecting to Wi-Fi is how the printer gets the firmware that tightens those checks. HP’s own docs say firmware updates over the internet “will maintain the effectiveness of the dynamic security measures” and can block cartridges that worked before The second she connected her printer to WiFi she made her printer unusable unless she pays double the price for the same ink

🚨 CRIME OF THE CENTURY UNCOVERED 🚨 Robert F. Kennedy Jr. just dropped a BOMBSHELL that should shake America to its core. When he walked into HHS, he found the ultimate betrayal: Xavier Becerra and the Biden administration gutted the anti-fraud team that was supposed to protect $2.2 TRILLION in taxpayer money every single year. There were only 80 people watching over 50 states and 5 territories. Becerra transferred 76 of them out. Only 6 people left. Six. For 4 MILLION transactions a day. It was an open invitation for the thieves. And they came running. Phony hospices in Los Angeles billing $6,000 a month for patients who didn’t even exist. Durable medical equipment fraud — tens of billions stolen. Autism services — tens of billions more looted. The store was left wide open… and they cleaned it out. RFK Jr. is calling it exactly what it is: a deliberate dismantling of the last line of defense against the greatest government fraud in modern American history. This wasn’t incompetence. This was the crime of the century. And the American people just found out who left the vault door unlocked.

There is something deeply ironic in the fact that dystopian films of a fascist future like "The Matrix" are scaring people into handing AI over to government control. I mean, those movies were a warning about central control and not an excuse for central control.

Breaking: Michael Burry says OpenAI and Anthropic are faking the AI warnings due to slow growth ahead of IPOs Below are his reasonings: 1. LLMs are not AI and won't be AGI. There is nothing AI to slow down. 2. Competition is coming up fast, slowing benefits incumbents. 3. IPOs need hype & puffery; "we are so awesome it could become dangerous" is hype & puffery 4. Cover for real uncontrollable slowing growth as IPOs look to be pushed out
