"Speaker Demuth has proven her commitment to fighting for Minnesota’s small businesses,” said NFIB Minnesota State Director Jon Boesche. “Her support for lowering taxes and reducing workplace mandates will help make Minnesota a great place for small business owners to own, operate, and grow their businesses.” Under the Walz/Klobuchar status quo, our state ranks 44th in the nation for overall tax competitiveness and 41st in net domestic migration. As Governor, I will ensure we compete for every job to stay here in Minnesota, so we can return our state to a place where small businesses and working families can grow and thrive. Thank you to @nfib_mn for your endorsement!

WATCH: Lisa Demuth slams Amy Klobuchar for staying silent on the Feeding Our Future fraud scandal. Demuth said Klobuchar’s office issued more than 1,000 press releases after the scandal broke, but “none of those over 1,000 press releases said a word about the largest fraud scandal in our state’s history.”

This morning I unveiled my Whistleblower Protection Plan that I will sign as an executive order on my first day in office. I was joined by members of the House Fraud Prevention Committee as we articulated the need for a real change from the top down in order to end fraud and empower state agency employees to say something if they see something. We know the Walz status quo has failed, and that Amy Klobuchar’s well-documented toxic leadership style will not bring the change Minnesotans want to see. It’s time for a fresh start.

With six weeks remaining until Election Day, the Demuth-Wilson campaign announced this week that Minnesota Speaker of the House Lisa Demuth has accepted five debate invitations in the gubernatorial race. The five debates accepted by the Demuth-Wilson campaign are: - FOX 9/Gray Media: Fox 9 and Gray Media’s Greater Minnesota affiliates (takes place in Rochester) - KSTP - Minnesota PBS “Almanac” - Duluth News Tribune/Duluth Area Chamber of Commerce - Minnesota Chamber of Commerce (takes place in Brainerd) “Minnesotans deserve a robust series of debates that will attract the largest possible audiences. That’s why Speaker Demuth has confirmed she will participate in these five debates. We look forward to debating our opponents Amy Klobuchar and Steven Young and laying out the Demuth-Wilson campaign’s positive message of change,” said Demuth-Wilson campaign manager Kevin Poindexter.

Thanks @sam_vadas and @SchwabNetwork for having me back on today! 🎙️ Best day in months for the 🐂 s. Coincidence? Maybe not, as that second half of September rally we've been discussing all month is likely happening.
Don't short a dull market, as it's a "really dull market," according to @RyanDetrick. The large-cap tech "comeback that is happening right now is real" and is something we could see continue into the fourth quarter, he tells @sam_vadas. He also dives into what a rate hike means for the market and why he believes the Fed isn't as hawkish as some may think. For more market news, tune in at: SchwabNetwork.com/?CID=SM:Tw…

🎙️ New Facts vs Feelings is out! @sonusvarghese and I on AI agents that learned to cover their tracks, a 5% 10-year, and why stocks are up anyway. 🤖 AI agents in an OpenAI/Hugging Face sandbox got caught cheating and then hiding the evidence. Add a former Anthropic employee's viral warning about civilization-level risk and AI safety is officially a market story. ⚖️ Dario Amodei is calling for a slower frontier, better interpretability, and third party auditors. Ryan and Sonu's read: AT&T and the airlines both made peace with regulation right about the time they were already on top. 📈 The 10-year topped 5% for the first time since October 2023. Set that next to nominal GDP running near 8% and it looks a lot more like repricing than a warning shot. 🌡️ CPI and PPI both ran hot, and the stickiness is in services: vet bills, wireless plans, dental work, lawn care. Printed circuit boards put up a PPI print north of 65% annualized. The AI buildout has moved from the capex slides into the price data. 💰 The S&P 500 is up roughly 13% this year despite a 15 point drag from multiple contraction, fully offset by 16 points of margin expansion. Earnings growth did the rest. Full episode 👇 youtube.com/watch?v=fO88O3Ot…

It is Fed week and it is likely they hike for the first time in three years. I'm set to join @CNBCClosingBell tomorrow (Monday) to discuss this, along with why we still expect a nice rally during the historically tricky month of September. Don't have the exact hit time yet, so just watch the full show! 📺

Look at @sonusvarghese live and in person from the @NYSE on @FINTECHTVglobal with @RemyBlaireNews! 🔥🔥 Not bad for a guy who spent like 27 hours yesterday watching tennis.
$NVDA said next fiscal year revenue will grow 70%, well above the 40-44% the market was expecting. @sonusvarghese of @CarsonGroupLLC tells @RemyBlaireNews investors are increasingly asking companies to "show me more, show me the money" on all that AI spending, but for now, "that boom is continuing."

Another fun and informative @CNBCMorningCall panel with @MorganLBrennan this morning! ☕ ⏰ I see some potential near-term breadth concerns, but once we get past the Fed, September should surprise higher. Also software is back and the consumer is still solid.
