NEW: The Trump administration is pushing to restore Russian natural gas sales to Europe through pipelines in Ukraine, according to The Wall Street Journal. Trump envoys Jared Kushner and Steve Witkoff reportedly proposed the idea during trips to Moscow and Kyiv in September. The plan would involve selling the gas through a U.S. intermediary to get around European sanctions, potentially creating lucrative opportunities for American investors.
