Just dropped my latest React web app! (and best so far)
Built with React + Tailwind + Clerk auth β finally got the hang of React Router too.
Learned a lot building this. Would love your feedback

Outbox Pattern.
A very important system design pattern every software engineer should learn to implement if you care about building reliable systems.
Letβs take a payment system, for instance.
A user makes a payment. Your application successfully debits their account, but before it can publish the payment event to Kafka or RabbitMQ, the application crashes.
The database says the payment was successful, but the event that should notify other services was never published.
Now, your notification service, transaction history service, or reconciliation service might never know that the payment happened.
This is where the Outbox Pattern comes in.
Instead of updating the payment record and publishing an event as two separate operations, you save both the payment update and an event record in an outbox table within the same database transaction.
A background worker then reads pending events from the outbox and publishes them to your message broker.
If the application crashes, the event remains in the database and can be published when the system recovers.
Another example is in a distributed system.
Imagine an e-commerce platform where a customer places an order. The order service needs to notify the inventory service, payment service, and shipping service.
If the order is saved successfully but publishing the event fails, the other services might never know that the order exists.
With the Outbox Pattern, the order and its corresponding event are persisted atomically. The event can then be delivered and processed asynchronously.
Of course, you still need to handle duplicate delivery through idempotent consumers, retries, and proper event-processing guarantees.
The key idea is simple:
Never rely on a database transaction and a separate message broker operation succeeding together by chance.
Persist the business change and the intent to publish an event atomically, then deliver the event reliably.
If youβre building payment systems, fintech applications, e-commerce platforms, or microservices, learn this pattern.
Thank you bro ππ I thought of building a tool just like this to fix this problem because it's always a drag going through Whatsapp/telegram πͺ
I got tired of sending files to myself.
Phone β WhatsApp β Laptop.
So I started building Droply.
Scan β Connect β Transfer.
No account. No unnecessary setup. Just file transfer.
Droply is coming.

OVER 100,000 PEOPLE ARE PLAYING LAGOS LIFE RIGHT NOW.
738K+ players.
3.3M+ visits today.
4.8M+ visits all time.
And now weβre heading for 1 MILLION PLAYERS. π
I genuinely donβt even know what to say anymore. I built this little Lagos world and somehow, you all turned it into something bigger than I could have imagined.
Iβm just flabbergasted at this point. ππ
100K concurrent. Next stop: 1M Lagosians. π³π¬π
A Twitter user posts their income and suddenly youβre like, βI need to lock tf in.β
You believe you need discipline and motivation, but I believe those things are like fuel. And you can run out of fuel before you get to your destination.

And this is the ignorance with you guys. Iβve seen more movies than youβve seen anime yet youβre the one talking with confidence..
βYall just cant stand slow paced dialogue, always ridiculous power fightsβ
Every anime fan knows you donβt even get good fight scenes. We literally celebrate when we do, we have to imagine half the fight scenes.. do you even know how difficult it is to animate a fight scene? Weβre here for the plot.
Bring movies with better than this.. Iβll wait.
And I have more if you want.
