Yesterday, after Statistics Canada reported Canadians lost even more jobs, Mark Carney snuck in another Temporary Foreign Worker Program expansion, allowing corporate powerbrokers to employ low-wage workers from abroad instead of employing Canadians. That will drive wages down and unemployment up.
He is not working for you.
Conservatives are. We are fighting back and will push to shut down the Temporary Foreign Worker Program to put Canadians first for Canadian jobs.

Does the Liberal government really believe that taxing Canadians, only to give some of that money back so they can afford groceries, is a sign of success?
The fact that so many Canadians are struggling to put food on the table should be a serious concern, not something we accept as normal or brag about.
Especially when the Prime Minister himself said he wanted to be judged by the prices Canadians pay at the grocery store.

She notes he “announced the government’s operational budget will be balanced a year early” (no plan for the capital side), flags that the PBO says interest on the debt is the government’s fastest-growing expense, then ends with the government’s preferred closer:
“Still, the government says now is the time for ambition and that it will pay off in the end.”
The “operating budget” is a new Carney invention. It lets Ottawa reclassify large amounts of spending, tax credits, and subsidies as “capital” (broader than other advanced countries or standard public accounting, per the PBO) so they can claim the day-to-day books are balancing while overall deficits stay huge and debt interest keeps climbing

🚨🚨The Liberals are doing something very dangerous with Canada's finances.
They are taking the NATIONAL DEBT and subtracting the PENSION SAVINGS of Canadians to make our debt look smaller.
That's almost a trillion dollars in pension assets!
And they're using that smaller number to justify borrowing $733 billion more.
And when Canadians ask if this is responsible, the government points to our pension savings.
But here's my question:
Can the government use Canadians' pension money to pay off its debt?
If the answer is yes, Canadians deserve to know.
And if the answer is no, then stop using our pension savings to make the debt look smaller!

Trump has been the biggest gift to the LPC. Without him, they might’ve lost the election. They spent months screaming about Canadian sovereignty and refusing to be pushed around by Washington.
