A great evening welcoming our new Year 7 scholars to MiSST and presenting them with their brand-new clarinets and trumpets.
It was also wonderful to hear the fantastic progress being made by our brass players and flautists.
Othello - the play where everything could have been different if he had just talked to his wife - great interpretation at @northernstage. #newcastle #theatre

If you want one heart melting clip in your evening, nothing better than @aawoodfields Summer Dazzler and this closing number. What a note from the AWESOME Francesca.
A fabulous night at @AAWoodfields. Our scholars have pulled together to entertain a packed hall. Choir harmonies, baby concert band growing up and storytelling from the drama team. Changing of the guard - new faces performing for the first time amidst our experienced stars 🤩

Every child in our school can recite three poems by heart, but the real enthusiasts know many and perform them competitively through @poetrybyheart. @JoolsAtkins was instrumental in devising evocative interpretations of poems, and @SHEduTeach entered us for the competition.

Proud to announce our choir has been chosen for a special 2-year project with MISST.
We’re expanding participation, adding specialist tuition, performing in incredible venues with other MISST choirs, and introducing singing across all of KS3.
This is going to be special.
