🇺🇸 Rubio just picked the opposite side of Vance on the Iran war: he’s staying, he’s defending it, and he won’t rule out 2028
Two days after the vice president blamed the war for losing the Senate, the secretary of state told the Times the opposite.
Gas prices are nothing to brag about, he admitted, but Trump “deserves a tremendous amount of credit” for the war anyway:
“That is the price of leadership... the willingness to do things that may not be politically popular.”
Rubio also shot down reports he’s leaving, saying he’ll serve to the end of the term, and refused to say whether he’ll run for president:
“I literally will not talk about 2028 anymore.”
He once said he’d be the first to back a Vance campaign; today he gave Trump the loyalty Vance didn’t, and Trump is the one who decides which of them the party gets.

Mi apoyo total a Rubio. Creo en él desde hace unos 20 años.
Marco Rubio por azares del destino, experiencia, y muchas cosas más, ahora tiene que cargar la idea de que será el próximo presidente.
Prácticamente trump y los republicanos lo pusieron en bandeja de plata rumbo a las presidenciales.
Marco rubio se a mantenido como un republicano moderado, más no radical como los demás.

No veo una mejor opción que Marco Rubio para el Partido Republicano de cara a las elecciones presidenciales de 2028.
Rubio no solo es uno de los políticos con mayor trayectoria dentro del partido, sino que también representa una renovación que los republicanos necesitan.
En una elección presidencial, tendría la capacidad de atraer a los republicanos tradicionales, a buena parte de la base MAGA, a los hispanos conservadores e incluso a algún sector demócrata que no se identifique con las posiciones más radicales de su partido.
Tiene la capacidad de conectar con distintos sectores del electorado que pocos republicanos actualmente pueden ofrecer.
Para mí, es el candidato con mayor potencial para unificar a los republicanos en la era post-Trump.
