Take a look at Josh McFadden (@joshmcf12) on the hill in front of @FiveToolPA. The RHP worked up 8 strikeouts in his 5 innings of work while allowing just 3 hits and 0 runs. On the other side of the heavyweight pitchers duel was 2026 Josh McFadden (Central Catholic). The @SCFBaseball commit also showcased 5 distinct pitch shapes and dominated an excellent Butler lineup. FF: 89-91 T92 🔥 CH: 85-86 CU: 86-87 SW: 82-84 CB: 74-76 📊 7 IP, 3 H, 2 BB, 0 ER, 11 K Prototypical starter frame & arsenal. + feel for spin with advanced pitchability. Clean delivery that continues getting better with time. @Joshmcf12

It’s not every day you see a HS arm with a true 6-pitch arsenal. The downside to having so many pitches (even for big leaguers) is they can blend together/lose consistency at times. This was a rare in-season case where Josh last pitched 5 days ago and has another 3 days rest until his next start, so we were able to hop on Trackman for a 30 pitch, ~85-90% pitch design bullpen to dial in his shapes. Pumped to watch his start on Monday and see what sticks 🦾📈 @Joshmcf12
