This is incredible — every piece of mail in the UK from April 15-17 has been stamped with a special congratulatory message for Rory.

Apparently, Rory has donated the whole of his Masters prize money ($4.2m/£3.1m) to Mencap, a Northern Island charity which supports thousands of people with a learning disability.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Grainne Close, Director of Mencap Northern Ireland, has clarified that while Rory McIlroy has long been a generous supporter of the organization, rumors that he donated all of his recent tournament winnings are not true

Think @justinprose99 represents so many things that Rory does. He works his butt off in pursuit of the dream. Complete and utter dedication to the sport. But on top of that, what a magnanimous man in defeat and an amazing classy ambassador for our sport. His day will come again I hope. @fooch97 in a similar vein, classy at the end after an incredible ten birdie final round. He said his man has another major in him, he’s not wrong and the margins are so fine with such incredible athletes. As people, they all win for me. Pure class. 👌🏼

Derby finish follow-up and new video!
First, thanks to a kind fan, I have attached a good quality head-on video of the incident.
While most readers understood my previous post, and I don't think that I could have been much more clear, for the benefit of those who may still be confused:
I am not arguing that the order of finish should necessarily have been changed.
I am arguing that given the obvious bumping between the second and third-place finishers, and Gaffalione's push, coupled with the close photo finish, it was inexcusable for the Stewards not to have minimally posted an Inquiry.
I am also arguing that it is very poor form for Churchill Downs to refuse to release the head-on video, and that it suggests that they are aware of the controversy that it could fuel, which further supports the view that there should have been an Inquiry.
My guess is that if there had been an Inquiry, the Stewards would likely have arrived at the conclusion that there was mutual interference, and that Gaffalione's push was acceptable for reasons of safety.
But while those may have been a reasonable conclusions, there remains no legitimate excuse for the Stewards' failure to post an Inquiry.

How is THIS okay? @ChurchillDowns as an owner and breeder, I ask do you even care if the horses or riders get hurt? I want to apologize to the Japanese. Their horse deserved so much better than this. Shame on Tyler Gaffalione for thinking it’s okay to ride like this. Dirty.
