It is because of President Trump’s Make DC Safe and Beautiful Task Force that DC is now experiencing a renaissance. Three years ago, D.C. had the fourth highest homicide rate in the nation. Since then:
Carjackings🔻84%
Homicides🔻64%
This doesn't happen by accident. It happens because there are people who work together to make sure that the criminals are held accountable.
Today, @USAttyPirro and @USAO_EDNC announced that ATF Agents arrested five individuals following a federal grand jury in the Eastern District of North Carolina returning indictments alleging their involvement in a firearms trafficking scheme.
This enforcement action was conducted in collaboration with the D.C. Safe and Beautiful Task Force, a federal task force chaired by the Homeland Security Advisor, to curb violent crime, address narcotics and firearms offenses, enforce quality-of-life and transit rules, and support local and federal police agencies.

This operation exemplifies the commitment of our federal, state, and local partners working together under the Make DC Safe and Beautiful initiative. Gun‑running networks do not respect state lines, and neither does our determination to stop them. This joint effort shows how coordinated enforcement can protect both Washington, D.C. communities and the communities where these schemes originate.

This brazen attack on the National Guard by a repeat violent offender firing into a crowded corridor is exactly the kind of lawlessness our city refuses to tolerate.
The National Guard and our task force partners responded with discipline and courage, restoring order quickly. Their presence is delivering real results: more than 18,000 arrests, nearly 2,200 illegal firearms seized, and 28 missing children safely returned home.
The men and women protecting this city are driving violent crime down and taking back our streets one dangerous individual at a time.
Jerrell Lamont Jackson, 41, of the District of Columbia, was charged by complaint today in connection with the October 18 shootout in the Barracks Row neighborhood in Southeast Washington D.C. that left a National Guardsman injured, announced @USAttyPirro.

Titus Mayo drags a detective in his car and tears off the top of his finger resisting arrest, goes on high-speed chase in a stolen car in two other jurisdictions, and crashes into a civilian's car. DC Judge Jennifer Di Toro sentences this felon… probation!

Great meeting today with U.S. Ambassador to Cambodia Chris Anderson to align strategies on dismantling Chinese transnational criminal organizations that are scamming Americans out of their life savings.
Ashley Gause and her crew terrorized more than 40 victims, robbing hundreds of thousands of dollars’ worth of narcotics and cellphones. She even posed with a gun they used.
But her victims stood up, took the stand, and helped put her behind bars for the next 11 YEARS!
Today at the American Bankers Association’s Conference, I made clear that my Scam Center Strike Force is working hand-in-hand with the private sector and urged banks to join us to expose scam networks, disrupt their operations, and protect American victims.
Disruption Week in London
Last week, I addressed law enforcement and private companies from all over the world as we worked to take down scammers stealing from our citizens. Yesterday, we announced the results:
🔺$11 MILLION+ in potentially freezable funds identified
🔺3.7 MILLION+ scam-linked accounts, pages and groups taken down
🔺120+ trafficked workers identified
🔺350+ devices seized
🔺28 arrests in Ghana and Nigeria
No matter where these criminals hide, we are uniting across borders to protect the American people and hold scammers accountable.
My conversation with Meta's Chris Sonderby at Disruption Week in London.
Our public-private partnerships are working to protect the American people from transnational scam organizations.
Alongside global law enforcement and tech leaders like Meta, we are actively shutting down international scam compounds, freezing illicit funds, and protecting American families from financial ruin.

He preyed on two women. He thought he could get away with it.
He was wrong.
Maurice Spears is facing justice.
A drug hub. Fentanyl. Cocaine. An illegal alien behind it.
SHUT DOWN.
We seized enough fentanyl to kill 369,000 people. That’s 369,000 reasons to keep fighting.
Cybercriminals thought they could steal from hardworking Americans and get away with it.
They were wrong.
I and members of my Scam Center Strike Force went to London to fight the scammers from Ghana.
With our partners at the @NCA_UK, @FBIDirectorKash, @FBI, @DOJCrimDiv we are annihilating those operations.
Since November, my Strike Force has seized nearly $1 BILLION in stolen cryptocurrency, thousands of computers and phones, and the websites and infrastructure these criminals use to steal from victims.
These scam compounds destroy lives and wipe out Americans’ hard-earned savings.
We are fighting like hell to shut them down, take their money, seize their infrastructure, and put them behind bars.

This defendant, Moussa Konte, who was in this country illegally, turned a one‑bedroom apartment into a drug warehouse stocked with fentanyl, cocaine, cash, money counters and ammo, creating a direct threat to public safety.
He is now in custody. This case demonstrates how traffickers can operate quietly and boldly in our own neighborhoods.
But they need to understand this: the District is not open for their business. We will find them, shut them down, and take their profits off the table.
A two-count Indictment was unsealed yesterday in U.S. District Court in the District of Columbia charging Moussa Konte, 32, a Senegalese citizen, with unlawful possession with intent to distribute 400 grams or more of fentanyl and unlawful possession with intent to distribute 500 grams or more of cocaine, announced @USAttyPirro.
