Haringey Council Tenants and Leaseholders - Labour Misled You About the Safety of Your Home. 1/3
The changes at the top of the Labour Party happened because of the Greens, clearly Labour respond far better to external pressure rather than internal, being inside Labour is still a waste of time if youāre actually left wing
Burnham has laid out a bold vision for Britain. Now, we must turn his vision into action.
Socialists are already organising across our movement. But we need you.
Itās time for a socialist Labour Party ready to deliver change.

Lots of people really parading their ignorance over Oxford Street Pedestrianisation. Itās a pretty well established fact that more roads mean more people drive and therefore you get more congestion, removing roads in the long run tends to reduce traffic
The concensus around climate change in the UK is fast unraveling, while we don't have brazen climate denial like in USA, the actions/positions of much of the political spectrum are adding up to a similar conclusion: delayed or abandonded action that will lead us to more warming
The green case that Burnham can make for new North Sea oil and gas production:
ā Domestic gas is 18% less carbon-emitting than imports from the US and the Gulf states.
ā Higher tax revenue can be used to support green energy, EVs and heat pumps.

Iāve said it before and Iāll say it again, the media just have no interest in learning how the Green Party operates. It seems she had no idea of this rule when itās pretty basic journalism to find that out before you interview the party leader
.@ZackPolanski: "I do want to amend [the motion that was passed].."
#BBCLauraK: "When will that be?"
"2028"
"But you wont do anything until 2028?"
"You can't within the rules"
".. you could try & change the rules"
"I'm not an out of control autocrat"
Cautiously, I think this is Labourās first major mistake in its positioning towards Greens since Burnham taking over, it doesnāt look good to make this kind of mandates from the top and if/when a local authority collapses because of this Labour will squarely get the blame
The Labour Partyās refusal to work with the Greens unless they renounce anti-Zionism exposes the hollowness of the Burnham project.

Lots of people who would never vote Green or actively support the party suddenly have opinions on what we should do/be. Itās pretty critical we tune out the noise from the media/political classes right now
Green with shame
Zionism isnāt racism: Britain must support the Jewish state and the creation of a Palestinian state without succumbing to soap-box rhetoric on either

Important to remember that Lucas endorsed the opposing ticket in the last leadership contest, the weight of that endorsement didnāt mean much in the end, letās not overstate her influence in the party
"I think let's just see what happens in the coming days and weeks"
Former Green Party leader Caroline Lucas on whether Zack Polanski should stand down as leader of the party in England and Wales.

Our statement on the Holborn & St Pancras by-electionā¬ļø

ALT Momentum Co Chairs said: āLabourās victory in Holborn and St Pancras shows that when our Party offers a hopeful vision for the future and puts working-class communities at the forefront, we can win. After a hugely positive Labour Conference in Liverpool, this is more proof that our movement is gaining traction again - and that Labour remains the only serious vehicle for progressive and socialist change in Britain. Now the task is to turn that hope into action: delivering public ownership, building council homes, genuinely reversing austerity and making sure this Government puts people before profit. We will be proud to play our part in making that happen"
The media will never get to grips with the way the Green Party operates will it? Itās not custom for leaders to get involved in policy debates like this, other senior Greens doing so is the thing that looks off here, not Polanski staying out
"The Greens' 'Zionism is racism' vote was a blunt instrument which has cost Zack Polanski dearly."
The Green Party leader lost the Holborn & St Pancras by-election. Can this be blamed on the vote Polanski missed at last weekend's party conference?

16% of people saying the āmain partyā of the left is Green when Labour are actually in government is very illustrative of how the electoral landscape has changed but also how many now view Labour
