I do want to update my views on Judgment.
- This killer solidified my distain of offense oriented anti tunnel
- Blindfold should remove killer instinct on exile and miss as a downside
- holy winged icon could be made basekit if on controller, unnecessary on mouse
Applies to the dbd community hard, witnessing it first hand.

Find Killers annoying to go against or boring to play as? That is really cool but being a cunt to people because of them playing a certain character is really strange.. Dead by Daylight is not real life.
Keep that shite in the game. 👍

A solution for @DeadbyDaylight @Mandyta1k @MrPope @DEATHDORKS @DbDPulse. Feel free to give me your opinion and as always, keep the conversation civil!
Hi everyone! This is HPhoenix from the Dead by Daylight dev team (I'm not!), and I'm here to talk about the next QoL change that is coming to the game in the near future (Hopefully!).
-------------------------------------------------------
-THE REJOIN TRIAL-
Currently, if a player disconnects because of bad internet, a power outage, game crashes, ect, they would receive a DC penalty. But not anymore! We're going to implement the Rejoin Game button. How would it work, you ask? I'll gladly explain!
When a player disconnects from the game under the following conditions:
-Game crash
-Power outage
-Internet disconnection.
You WILL be removed fully from the trial. No bots, just poof! Your HUD will be replaced with the old Disconnect logo. But once you log back into the game, you'll see a button that says "Rejoin Trial". Once you press it, you will spawn further away from the killer WITH whatever hook state you have left AND in the injured state. Keep in mind that you will NOT spawn with an item that you previously brought to the trial. Players have 2 minutes to rejoin the trial. Failure to rejoin the trial will result in a DC penalty.
If the killer get disconnected by one of those conditions, they will be replaced by a bot. When you rejoin the trial, it will show you a preview of what the bot is currently doing. You regain control of the bot after 5 seconds have passed. Any hooks that the bot got while you try to rejoin the trial will be added to your hook count.
-------------------------------------------------------
-DC PENALTY UPDATE-
With the Rejoin Trial implemented in the future, we can now adjust the DC penalty numbers:
1 game = Warning, no DC penalty
2-3 games = 15 minutes
4-5 games = 30 minutes
6-7 games = 1 hour
8-9 games = 5 hours
10+ games = 12 hours
This should heavily punish players who DC regularly, so think twice before pressing that "Quit" button in the options menu. Those who DC will be replaced with bots, as it always has been.
-------------------------------------------------------
-GG Next Pandemic-
We hear you! No one likes it when a survivor throws themselves to the killer or uses a luck offering to unhook themself at the start of the trial. So, we reworked Luck offerings.
Luck Offerings:
-Increase the chance of getting a Very Rare of any items with add-ons by (Insert number percentage by luck offering tier here).
-------------------------------------------------------
-Perk changes-
Up the Ante:
-If all survivors are alive and the gates are powered, they can self-unhook at ANY hook stage.
-the anti-tunneling mechanic is disabled. (No basekit BT or Haste!).
Dev Note:
Previously, you and your team were able to unhook themselves at any time during a trial. We made it where you and your team are able to unhook themselves once the gates are powered. However, we understand how problematic this perk can be so were able to disable the anti-tunneling mechanic while using this perk. We will be monitoring this perk closely.
-------------------------------------------------------
As for those who throw themselves to the killer or go AFK, we will give them a 3-day ban as long as players flag and report them. We will start taking this SERIOUSLY!!! (Hopefully!) Bonus day if the players send a clip of a player giving up via in-game support.
That's about it for our October dev update! We will see you in the fog!

“You should try the rpg game “vampire the masquerade bloodlines 1” (you do need the unofficial patch) I feel this game would be LOVED by the dbd community”
Hey @DeadbyDaylight let me be honest. It is saddening how listen to players who give up, go next, and throw themselves at the killer. You nerfed @PixelBushYT ‘s skull merchant because of those twats. When you will never make them happy.
Don’t nerf Judgment.

When you have a spoiled kid throwing a tantrum, and reward them? They feel enabled and will continue to throw a tantrum. Thats what you’re doing.
Players who go next? Ignore them. Stop catering to them. And listen

That’s genuinely such a bad mindset to have and enabling or supporting this type of behaviour is not good for the game.
We should encourage learning how to play against every killer instead of throwing a baby rage fit every time something bothers you.

it would also be nice if the people who lodged those criticisms understood that "let people criticise things" also entails "don't call people who disagree with you sadists and sociopaths who harbour sick fantasies about torturing women because they like a film you don't"
