What a week. I am so honored to be serving my second term in the Minnesota State Senate. I look forward to reaching out across the aisle to do right by my fellow Minnesotans.

The news of an alleged plot to attack the Mall of America later this month is deeply disturbing. MOA is an iconic gathering place and an economic engine for our state that brings families together. The kind of hate that has to exist in a person to be willing to plan out a devastating attack on innocent civilians is utterly horrifying. Thank you to the law enforcement agencies that spent years working to stop this attack and protect our communities from what can only be described as an act of terrorism. This alleged plot, and other recent violence in the metro area, is alarming to all of us. We cannot let this surge of violence become a new normal or escalate until more Minnesotans are harmed. Thank law enforcement. Pray for Minnesota.

Did we have fun at Nickle Dickle Day in Waconia this morning? You betcha. Even stopped at Chumly's, and ran into some great people working hard every day to help us make a stronger, better Minnesota.

My best buddy Harold met @LisaDemuthMN today! (Granted he was confused why five people had cameras on him and were asking him to look their way 😂)

Never forget. On September 11, 2001, nearly 3,000 people were murdered in a coordinated terrorist attack on our country. Innocent lives were taken at the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and in a Pennsylvania field. Families were shattered in an instant. First responders ran toward the danger. Firefighters, police officers, EMTs, and countless others climbed those stairs, searched the rubble, and gave everything they had. Many never came home. Their courage remains one of the clearest examples of American character. In the days that followed, we were not first Democrats or Republicans. We were Americans. Flags went up on porches. Strangers helped each other. Churches filled. We stood together because we understood what was at stake. Twenty-five years later, we still owe the victims, the survivors, and the first responders our memory and our gratitude. We will never forget.

Antisemitism is antisemitism. I called it out when a DFL Senate staffer posted “Zionists should f– off” and that “Israeli terrorism created Hamas.” She kept her taxpayer-funded job. A GOP campaign staffer’s posts were just as indefensible. He resigned. Good. Today @MNReformer raced to cover that one the same hour he quit. They never touched the Democrat. Same hate. Different party. Different coverage. That’s not news. That’s a double standard. #mnleg #Antisemitism alphanews.org/zionists-shoul…

A supporter of my opponent tagged both of us to have voters choose I “stay home with my family.” I have been getting that line since I first ran for office nine months pregnant. As if that’s not enough, his supporters and members of his team have implied competing in the Miss America system is disqualifying and attacked me for using childcare while serving. That is not tough politics. It is sexism. It is small. And it should be condemned without hesitation. I did not ask anyone’s permission to run, serve and parent. I have spent years making the Senate more accessible for young parents because mothers belong in public office. Our voices are not a courtesy. They are needed. My campaign lifts women up. It does not tell them to sit down, hide a résumé, or pretend they raised three boys without help. I am a present mother of three wonderful children. I am proud of how I raise them. I am not going home. I am not shrinking. And I will not be lectured by people who think a strong woman is a problem to be managed. Supporters of my opponent should be better than this. Minnesota women are staying in the fight.

🛑 Make it stop - this November, make it stop Minnesota. If you want lower property taxes, affordable health care, funding for schools, better nursing homes, cheaper insurance, a home you can afford, less college tuition debt, etc……..then vote to stop the BILLIONS in fraud. ✅

It’s an absolute honor to be the Republican candidate for governor of Minnesota. Today was a major milestone in this campaign, but we’re not done yet. Tonight, Minnesotans made it clear they are ready for real change – at the top. It’s time to end the fraud, restore common sense to our state government and return Minnesota to a place that works for families, seniors, businesses and our next generation. Let’s go win in November!

Some FANTASTIC parades these last few weeks in Chanhassen and Chaska. So much family fun connecting with voters, celebrating our community and country, and most importantly - breaking my shoulder lugging dozens of pounds of candy! 😂💪🏼🇺🇸❤️

Cheers to 250 years! After 6+ hours on the road today (plus a parade) I can finally take a moment to toast this great nation and wish you all a Happy Independence Day! I wake up every single day proud to be an American, but today on the 250th anniversary of our country’s independence, I’m filled with complete pride and gratitude for this great nation. For 250 years, America has been a country of freedom and opportunity. The rights we often take for granted—life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness—are just a dream in some parts of the world. I’m incredibly grateful that my kids get to grow up here and that’s why I fight every day to protect our way of life and the values that have defined this country for a quarter of a millennium. Happy 250th, America.

Honored to receive the endorsement of the Minnesota Police and Peace Officers Association! As the daughter of a Ramsey County Sheriff’s Deputy, standing strong for our law enforcement officers who put their lives on the line every day has always been personal. There’s a reason they chose to endorse my candidacy - my consistent record of supporting public safety, backing our officers, and delivering results in the Senate. I’m grateful for their trust as we keep Minnesota safe. Back the Blue always.

What’s cruel is making a teenage girl, already uncomfortable in her own skin, change in a locker room next to a naked boy. What’s cruel is letting our girls get the s*it kicked out of them by biological males on the field and lose out on scholarships and more chances to compete. What’s cruel is putting your base above female safety and opportunities.
As the Supreme Court says states can be cruel to trans kids, my message is clear: Here in Minnesota, we stand with and value our trans neighbors and youth.
