‼️ salvadoran president bukele tweeted scripture in defense of his military occupation of haiti.
please understand how chilling it is to see a fascist ruler of a nearby land quoting bible verses—in your country-exclusive language—to call you wicked and profess to be the cure

In 2019, the Western media told you Evo Morales was ousted by a "pro-democracy uprising" because he "stole an election."
Let’s look at the material reality of what the empire actually did to Bolivia’s first Indigenous president.
Evo’s unforgivable sin was not electoral fraud. It was lithium.
Bolivia sits on the largest lithium reserves on earth—the exact mineral Silicon Valley and the US military-industrial complex desperately need to build electric vehicle batteries and advanced weaponry.
For 500 years, the imperial playbook in Latin America was simple: extract the raw materials for pennies, leave the locals in poverty, and sell the finished products back to them at a massive markup.
Evo said no.
He nationalized the country's natural gas and mining sectors. He lifted millions of Indigenous people out of extreme poverty. And when it came to lithium, he refused to let US corporations strip-mine it and export it raw. He demanded that Bolivia build its own battery factories, partnering with whoever offered the best technology transfer for the Bolivian people.
So the empire deployed its 21st-century hybrid war toolkit.
The US-backed Organization of American States (OAS) published a highly irregular report claiming there were "irregularities" in the election. Mainstream media outlets instantly screamed "fraud," ignoring the fact that independent researchers from MIT later mathematically debunked the OAS claims, proving there was no statistical evidence of a stolen election.
But the empire didn't need evidence. It needed a pretext.
The Bolivian military, taking cues from Washington, forced Evo onto a plane to Mexico. They installed an uneased interim president who marched into the presidential palace holding a giant Bible, declaring to the cameras: "God has returned to this house."
Her security forces immediately turned their weapons on the Indigenous working class, massacring dozens of unarmed protesters in the streets of Sacaba and Senkata.
And then, the imperial center got sloppy.
Months later, when a user on Twitter pointed out that the US orchestrated the coup to secure Bolivia's lithium for the electric vehicle market, Elon Musk—the ultimate face of the Western tech elite—replied with a stunning confession:
"We will coup whoever we want! Deal with it."
They didn't overthrow Evo Morales to save democracy. They overthrew him to secure the supply chain for Tesla.
You can wave a Bible in the presidential palace. You can massacre the Indigenous working class in the streets.
But you cannot wash the blood off the batteries.

Haiti has been colonized for decades. GWBush kidnapped Aristide. Hillary Clinton forced an election do over. Eric Prince is killing hundreds of Haitian civilians with drones. UN occupation gave thousands of people cholera. Gilley’s sick fantasy has been fulfilled many times over.
It’s time to colonize Haiti. My essay today.

The most honest statement ever made about Cuba policy came from a State Department memo in 1960, written before the sanctions were fully implemented.
The memo, written by Deputy Assistant Secretary of State Lester Mallory, stated that the U.S. should pursue a policy to bring about hunger, desperation, and overthrow of the Cuban government.
Not: respond to "Cuban repression."
Not: protect Cuban human rights.
Not: promote democracy.
Hunger. Desperation. Overthrow.
This memo is declassified. It is in the historical record. It is not disputed.
It means that every subsequent year of sanctions, every subsequent citation of Cuban poverty and dysfunction as evidence of socialist failure, every subsequent American official expressing concern for the welfare of the Cuban people:
All of it happened downstream of a documented decision to deliberately produce hunger and desperation in that population.
This is not a conspiracy theory.
It is a declassified government document.
The conspiracy was the policy.
The theory was written in plain English by an American official in 1960 and has been implemented faithfully for 66 years since.
What they wanted to prove, they engineered the conditions to prove.
And then they called it evidence.

The US government and its media apparatus are telling you Haiti has a gang problem that demands foreign military intervention.
It's true there is a problem with criminal gangs that kidnap, terrorize and murder innocent people.
What they don't tell you is that these criminal gangs are creations of the system, supported by the US-backed oligarchs.
They also don't tell you that their invasion is targeted against the only figure fighting against those criminal gangs: Jimmy 'Barbecue' Cherizier, leader of the G9 anti-crime federation.
Watch him speak to a huge crowd of supporters about how the ruling class exploits the poor masses.
Unlike Cherizier, US puppet Ariel Henry is reviled by the people. He can't appear in public, let alone draw a crowd of hundreds or thousands like Cherizier.
This is enemy number one of the U.S. empire in Haiti.
Anti-imperialists must resist war propaganda promoted through mass media and defend him, and Haitian sovereignty.

This is why we've been shouting cultural preservation.
Religious extremism deliberately targets a society's cultural fabric so it can replace it with its own structures: by removing Ọbas, or installing extremists in traditional leadership roles.
Too many Yorùbá youths are detached from our culture, and that leaves space for something more sinister to take root.
We need to reawaken our systems: ẹgbẹ́, esùsú, and introduce Yorùbá clubs and societies in every SW school and tertiary institution. Return to the agbo ilé way, instead of living in isolation.
Our culture has always been tolerant and multi-faith. That's exactly why extremists want it gone.

I hope El Salvador pulls its troops out of Haiti before it's too late. Haiti is a problem that needs to resolved by Haitians, not foreign armies. Bukele is following orders from his backers in US & Europe, the same backers who arm these groups to create chaos in the first place

What they called "tribes" were, frequently, nations.
The word choice was precise and deliberate.
"Tribe" suggests pre-political. Primitive. Blood-based. Pre-rational. The kind of social organization that exists before real civilization begins.
"Nation" suggests sovereignty. History. Law. The kind of social organization that has rights.
You cannot colonize a nation without committing a crime that demands accounting.
You can "pacify" a tribe. You can "administer" a tribe. You can "protect" a tribe from itself.
The same Zulu Kingdom that had its own legal tradition, its own military strategy sophisticated enough to defeat British forces at Isandlwana, its own diplomatic history, was a "tribe."
The same Asante Empire that controlled extensive gold trade networks, developed complex political institutions, and produced remarkable artistic traditions was dismissed as a mere "tribe."
The word did the work before the soldiers arrived.
Call it a "tribe" first.
Then the conquest is "administration."
Then the destruction of its institutions is "modernization."
Then the theft of its resources is "development."
Language is the first colonial tool.
It was used here with full awareness of what it was doing.

ALT The Battle of Isandlwana, 22 January 1879. The British invaded a kingdom they dismissed as a "tribe." That kingdom fielded an organized army capable of inflicting one of the most devastating defeats in British colonial military history. The Zulu Kingdom did not lack sovereignty, military strategy or civilization. It lacked the colonizer’s recognition of them. Painting by Charles Edwin Fripp, 1885.

We couped Haiti a few years ago to increase the chaos in hopes we can eventually steal its oil. That's why Haitians gangs are out of control & why Haitians seek asylum in the USA.
Tldr: If we don't want asylum seekers, we need to stop couping countries.
