In case to sequester 20K Calif ballots, DOJ waited till 10/15 to sue; waited till 10/19 to seek a TRO; was granted a hearing 10/27, but then demanded ruling by 10/22; when none issued, it appealed “constructive” denial 10/23. Incredibly, 9th Cir is hearing oral arg today at 4pm ET (Sunday).

Chinese mesh modems let Russia steer its drones deep into Ukraine and around air defenses, The Insider found.
A mesh modem links drones into one radio network. If one is shot down, data reroutes through the rest; information keeps flowing even if nearly 80% are downed, Ukrainian defense adviser Serhii Beskrestnov has said.
One unit holds a link over 100 to 300 km, so operators can send new commands in flight.
