6’4 Sophomore Andre Mills put together a dominant scoring performance in Maryland’s win against West Virginia.
Mills finished the game with 27 points, 8 rebounds, 1 assist and 1 block, while shooting 9/15 from the field and 4/7 from three.
Mills was one of the best scorers in the 2nd half of B10 play last season and carried that today with a strong showcase of his athleticism, shooting, strength, downhill creation, finishing, and foul drawing.
6’4 Creighton Freshman Guard Katrelle Harmon had a strong all around showing in Creighton’s win against Iowa State.
Harmon finished with 16 points, 3 rebounds, 6 assists, 2 steals, 2 blocks, and shot 100% from the field.
Harmon had an extremely impressive game against a strong Iowa State team in just his first game as a true freshman where he showcased a strong mix of finishing, passing, free throw drawing, pace, while also having a strong impact on the defensive end.

Insane athlete, AWESOME player.📈
One of the most underrated transfers that I highlighted is Kameron Taylor headed to FSU.
One of 4 underclassmen to have a 15+ assist%, 15 dunks & 35 threes last year (joining AJ Dybantsa, Tyler Tanner & Cam Boozer)
Wildly talented wing for @FSUHoops
Florida State’s Kam Taylor had a very impressive game in his team’s win against Auburn.
The 6’7 Junior Guard finished with 19 points, 4 rebounds, 1 assist, and a steal on 50/50/100 splits.
Taylor has the potential to be one of the biggest risers in this seasons NBA Draft, and he showed why today with an impressive showcase of athleticism, shooting, defensive impact, rim pressure, and foul drawing.
I also think there’s some areas in his game that will be a lot harder for him to fix to the point where he won’t do it as much for Marquette and in the next season. One of the first as mentioned, is his off the dribble shooting.
Minessale is an awful off the dribble shooter who is extremely uncomfortable when shooting there and it’s something I don’t want to see him doing that much. He shot just 22% on off the dribble threes and I think it’s something he won’t do as much outside of the occasional pull-up here and there.
I also think his handle needs a lot of work, I think Minessale has one of the worst handles I’ve seen from a player with the type of usage he had, and while not every player needs a handle to be effective I think it really limits when he can do as a full time creator to the point where he’s better off in a secondary ball handling role.
He did a good job at limiting his turnovers but still nearly every single turnover came from his handle issues, and I think if he played the same role he did at St Thomas for Marquette his flaws would be more noticeable. However as a secondary ball handler his handle isn’t a major flaw in my opinion but it does hold his ceiling back a bit.
Overall in my opinion Minessale is one of the most intriguing prospects heading into this season because of how good he is at nearly everything, and his ability to be an elite connector is something that is very valuable for his height.
I think Minessale is exactly what NBA teams are looking for in their modern wings with his cutting, passing, defense, finishing, transition play, secondary ball handling, decision making, and shooting upside.
I do think the shot needs to be there for Minessale to return starting value in the league, however if it is there he’ll one of the most valuable connective wings in the league, and I think he’s exactly the kind of player you want as your starting 3 on a championship contender which is why I have him at #12.
There aren’t many guards with more upside heading into this season than North Carolina’s Terrence Brown.
The 6’3 Guard had a strong Junior season for an Utah where he averaged 20/2/4 on 45/33/77 splits, and finished in the top five in scoring in the B12.
Brown’s elite rim pressure combined with his foul drawing, mid range scoring, and playmaking ability makes him an extremely deadly player with the ball in his hands.
Brown gets to the rim at an elite level and is the only High Major guard since 2008 to have 250 attempts at the rim. Brown uses his rim pressure in the HC or in transition to find his teammates along with drawing fouls at a high level. Brown also has good passing vision and is good at limiting his turnovers.
Brown was also one of the most efficient mid range scorers in the country who shot 44% from the mid range on 95 attempts.
At UNC next season in a role where he’s still going to maintain a strong usage but also not be asked to do as much I think his catch and shoot and cutting ability will standout more as well. Brown showed strong flashes as a cutter where he shot 68%, he also was a solid catch and shoot threat from three, and next to a passer like Neoklis Avdalas that aspect of his game will be more visible.
I think Brown is one of the most talented players in the ACC and he has the chance to put it all together at UNC this season, where he has the potential to be one of the top scorers and playmakers in college basketball.
