Love exhibition games in CBB. Giving us a taste before the season.
But people for sure overreact more than ever bc the games have become more accessible than ever (to generate money in the preseason for NIL). We’re not used to having full games so much in October, usually just box scores.
Teams are VERY experimental with rotations, run minimal true sets & systems.
The games don’t mean NOTHING. I use them to watch things I have questions about which in this era is a lot. Freshmen, transfers & newcomers, new coaches & the looks they like.
Enjoy them, love having CBB on my screens!!!!! But just be aware of making forgone conclusions from 40 minutes of exhibition ball in October
