🚨For the first time, Tamil Nadu’s State Highways Department is adopting a Performance-Based Road Maintenance model, on the lines of @NHAI_Official.
🔹Tenders floated for six-month short-term maintenance contracts covering city roads.
🔹Contractors must rectify potholes within 24 hours, failing which penalties will be imposed.
🔹Contracts will be terminated after the issuance of the third notice.
🔹 To transition to long-term maintenance contracts in the next phase.

We in the solar industry know the potential of renewable energy, but we also understand the challenges of storage, grid integration and making solar power available when it’s needed most. Tamil Nadu’s 2.5 GW Battery Energy Storage push is a promising step towards addressing these challenges. It gives businesses like ours renewed confidence that renewable energy is being taken seriously at the policy level.
I’m happy to see our new government under CM Thalapathy Vijay taking steps towards strengthening Tamil Nadu’s energy future. 💛❤️
