EU COMPETITIVE INTEGRITY - NBA 2K27 With NBA 2K27 changing private competition and matchmaking, @KW5_EU, @HOFWorld2K & @EuroHoops2K have agreed to a united approach and will support each other to protect the integrity of EU competitive play. 🚫 CHEATING & SCRIPTING Any player found cheating, scripting, or using prohibited methods will face consequences across all EU events. NBA 2K27 is a clean slate, but previously identified script users may be subject to checks throughout the season. 🎮 RHYTHM SHOOTING Rhythm Shooting remains disabled in EU events due to its association with known scripting methods within the competitive community. 🎯 3PT ICON The 3PT Icon must be disabled for all players. HUD Settings → Ball Handler Text → Ability Icon → OFF 📊 METER SHAPES The following meter shapes are not permitted: Arrow 2 • Straight • Pill These settings are associated with known scripting methods and must be changed before competing. 🔌 DISCONNECTIONS & QUITTING Teams are strongly encouraged to: Have a 6th player available on competition days. Avoid unnecessarily leaving scheduled games. Take precautions against avoidable disconnects. We understand some disconnects are outside a team's control. These measures are simply to reduce avoidable issues. 🏀 MATCHMAKING & TEAM CREWS We encourage teams to maintain their Team Crew on a second account. While NBA 2K27's current matchmaking and customisation systems are not ideal, this remains the recommended workaround for teams wanting to maintain their identity and setup. 🔐 ACCOUNT SHARING & VOICE CHAT All account sharing must be approved by Host Admins in advance, with prior notice and a valid reason. Unapproved sharing may result in disciplinary action. Competition rules around player voices and team communications are also becoming increasingly strict to help verify player identities. 🤝 A UNITED APPROACH These measures are not intended to unnecessarily restrict or target players. They are necessary to keep EU competition fair, competitive and trustworthy while wider NBA 2K27 issues are addressed. 🔒 CONFIDENTIALITY All investigations, checks and disciplinary actions will remain confidential. This protects the integrity of the process, prevents rumours and speculation, and ensures players who are investigated but cleared are not unfairly labelled. THE NBA 2K COMPETITIVE COMMUNITY STANDS TOGETHER Even though it may not always feel like it, we are grateful to the creators, developers and everyone involved in NBA 2K. Your game has brought communities together worldwide to play, compete and grow. We will always have different opinions on gameplay, and we appreciate that feedback is sometimes heard and improvements are made. BUT THE COMPETITIVE COMMUNITY IS BEING LET DOWN Competitive communities around the world help players push themselves to the highest level through leagues, tournaments and organised competition. Events such as @eFIBA_official show the power of bringing this community together globally. However, the current state of Crews and private competition is making it increasingly difficult for us to do what we have done for years. WHAT WE ARE ASKING FOR • Customization should not be locked behind Crew Rewards Teams, organisations and leagues need their jerseys, identities and custom courts to represent themselves and it should not take months to get what we have had to free for years. • Private Matches need full functionality Reports suggest custom items may not work in private kiosk games. We hope this is not the case. • Rep, 2-Way and Heat Check should work in private games We understand concerns around boosting, but competitive players should be able to play the full game and play the game as it is designed, similar to how you handle it in other modes, just ban those caught boosting. • Bring back the Replay Center This has been a major tool for competitive players and content creators for years. • A solution for disconnections mid game. Players cannot rejoin, teams cannot restart without risking bans, and competitive games are being forced to continue with AI players. WE ARE NOT ASKING FOR SPECIAL TREATMENT. We are simply asking for the tools to continue doing what competitive communities have always done: Bring players together. Create competition. Produce content. Help NBA 2K grow.
