It's fascinating how crypto's narrative has evolved from building a breakaway society, through reinventing the savings account, to becoming a huge online casino. And now that Polymarket lets us bet on what other people are betting on, the crypto space has identified the last missing primitive: privacy! Because once we combine speculation on speculation with a privacy layer, we can finally unlock the ultimate financial primitive: betting on whether other bets even exist. Maximal composability paired with minimal accountability: Schrödinger's Casino is finally becoming its own underlying asset. What a time to be alive! And don't get me wrong: privacy is important infrastructure. But the ultimate challenge for crypto will be to turn a group of bagholders into an actual breakaway society whose primary economic activity gradually moves away from trading claims on itself.

Ledger: reseller spy chips. Trezor: shipping breach. SafePal: exposed orders. Keystone: leaked addresses. They told us “trust nobody,” then gave criminals a mailing list. Bought M5Stack’s to run @KasSigner for $KAS. If security fails, at least I know which idiot to blame. ✋

It’s going to get bad. A lot of companies will get hacked. This is what happens when you put very intelligent open source models in the hands of EVERYONE. it’s going to get bad… REALLY BAD. This could also be due to jailbreaks. We are starting to get in the rough era of ai. We will have to go through this before we get to the benefits.
🇺🇸 🚨 USA: OPENROUTER.AI USER DATABASE AND API KEYS ALLEGEDLY FOR SALE A threat actor on an underground forum claims to be selling a database associated with openrouter[.]ai, including user records and API keys. The actor claims: * 251,996 user rows (about 250,000 unique users) * 207,847 API keys (described as sk-or-v1 format; active / revoked / expired mix) Alleged user fields include emails, usernames, password material (hashed and some plaintext claimed), names, signup dates, credits, plan and country. Alleged API-key fields include user linkage, key values, creation/last-used timestamps, spend and rate limits. The claim has not been independently verified. ⚠️ Analyst Note: If authentic, exposed API keys would enable unauthorized LLM spend and account takeover, and user emails/credentials would fuel phishing and credential stuffing. Key values and sample rows are redacted from our images and are not reproduced here. Unverified threat-actor claim, NOT confirmation of an OpenRouter compromise. Source: this is for subscribers only. Sneaky fuckers. From my clanker. It's a scam ad that changes what it shows based on who it thinks is looking. You click the ad and land on a "One moment please, verifying the link" page. That page quietly looks up the current scam address from a blockchain contract, so the operator can swap domains at will, then hands you to a lookalike link made three days ago. That site runs a commercial fingerprinting service on you, which checks your browser, device, IP and behavior, and its own server decides whether you look like a real target. If you look like a bot, a researcher or a security scanner, or the check fails at all, it sends you to the real `foundation.xyz`, so anyone investigating sees nothing wrong. That's exactly what happened when I first opened it. If you look like a real victim, you get a fake "Passport recall" that asks for your 12 seed words or gets you to "create a new vault" whose words the attackers already hold. The operator can even ban or redirect specific visitors by hand from an admin panel.

KEYSTONE TO DESTROY 18,835 HARDWARE WALLETS AFTER HACKERS STEAL DEVICE AUTHENTICATION KEY Keystone has confirmed it will destroy 18,835 hardware wallets in existing inventory after attackers stole the cryptographic key used to verify the authenticity of its devices. The breach is particularly concerning because the stolen key could allow attackers to manufacture counterfeit Keystone wallets that successfully pass the company's official authenticity checks, potentially putting users' Bitcoin at risk. The key is permanently embedded in existing devices and cannot be erased or replaced, forcing Keystone to destroy its remaining inventory, suspend shipments and manufacture new devices with a replacement key. The company says attackers exploited a vulnerability in a third-party monitoring tool on its official website on October 20, gaining access to: - 25,964 customer records containing names, contact details, shipping addresses and purchase information. - 12,873 abandoned checkout records containing potentially sensitive customer information. Keystone also acknowledged that its automated data deletion system had failed, leaving customer information stored beyond its stated retention period. The company says recovery phrases, private keys and transaction signing were not compromised. Devices delivered before October 20 remain unaffected, but customers receiving devices with the old authentication key after that date are advised to seek additional verification. Keystone has suspended shipments, begun notifying affected customers and is moving production to a new authentication key.

It’s much worse than that: the hackers showed off their collection of individual shipping addresses and phone numbers. In my case, it’s a PO box. I hope everyone else is fine, though.

ANNOUNCEMENT: SPAM EMAILS HAVE BEEN SENT THAT APPEAR TO HAVE COME FROM OFFICIAL FOUNDATION DOMAINS. We have traced this back to one or more compromised API keys on Cloudflare, and have already revoked all API keys. The malicious domain in the spam email has been taken down. Funds stored on Passport are safe and Passport hardware is not compromised. We are working nonstop to discover exactly what happened and will put out a report ASAP.

This is fucking crazy. I knew all the Smart TVs were spying—that’s why I have a commercial panel with minimal compute and no radio, plugged in to an AppleTV. But this is crazy!
turns out it classifies what audio it hears, before reporting back to samsung. sensor preferences, dog-barking and baby-crying event counters, and camera streaming duration are built into telemetry paths.

Dude, can we please stop publishing vulns before they are disclosed to the vendor!?!?!?!??!
‼️ Researcher Erica Windisch skipped coordinated vulnerability disclosure and published 11 unpatched Tailscale flaws. In her lab, Tailscale SSH race conditions let one hacked device get root on other servers and add a rogue node.

‼️ Tailscale SSH Flaws Could Let Hackers Gain Root Access Across Servers Details: cybersecuritynews.com/tailsc… A new security report warns that Tailscale SSH has flaws that could let a hacker move from one compromised device to root access on other servers. Tailscale SSH lets approved devices log in to each other over a private network. The report lists 11 findings in five groups. They cover Tailscale’s SSH server, its serve and app connector features, the DERP relay client, and headscale, an open-source server that manages Tailscale networks. The researcher tested Tailscale 1.104.2 and headscale 0.29.5 between October 22 and October 24, 2026. The most serious group involves Tailscale SSH. Its SSH server runs inside tailscaled, a background program with full root privileges on the machine. #cybersecuritynews
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The flaws require an already-approved device in the Tailscale network with SSH rules permitting access/forwarding; they enable post-compromise lateral movement and escalation inside the tailnet, not unauthenticated remote access from outside. tailworm.com brandefense.io/security-news/… tailscale.com/security-bulle… x.com/mmaunder/statu…

We owe you an apology. On October 20, we detected unauthorized access to our official website. After verifying API activity with Shopify, we confirmed on October 23 that a third party obtained customer shipping information. You trusted us with those details, and we're sorry we didn't keep them safe. Exposed: names, contact details, shipping addresses, and order details (items and prices). Not exposed: payment card or bank details, recovery phrases, private keys, or wallet passwords. We've blocked access, fixed the vulnerability, opened an investigation, and are emailing affected customers. Scammers may pose as Keystone by phone, text, email, or mail, offering refunds, replacement devices, or "fixes" for your order or address. None of it is from us. NEVER share your recovery phrase or private keys, and NEVER enter your recovery phrase into a device you didn't order. We will never ask for them. Don't click links in unexpected messages. Type keyst.one yourself. A detailed report is coming soon. Until then, trust only our official channels. If anything feels off, email [email protected]. We'd rather hear from you than have you take a chance. Again, we're truly sorry to everyone affected.
