Let’s be clear. Healthcare is a human right. It is a foundation, like education that builds and sustains society. It should never be about profit and it never generates revenue. It’s about a patient’s needs & not a shareholder’s return. Anyone who tells you otherwise is stealing.
Proud of this collaborative work with neurosurgical colleagues! Care for patients with prolactinoma (and other pituitary tumours) should be multidisciplinary and patient centred. @CalDomMed @DCNSNeuro @HotchkissBrain @yycneurosurgery

Thank you @Karavitaki_Niki and the @TheEndoSociety committee for inviting me to present and for a great meeting! #ENDO2024
Well done to my previous fellow @Kclithgow for her lecture on management of non-functioning pituitary microadenomas at #ENDO2024 in the symposium Hot Topics in Pituitary Disease! Bravo Kirstie!
Hot take: Physicians publicly complaining about the capital gains tax is at best, tone deaf, and at worst, insufferable
This govt is only libertarian when it suits their political agenda. Remember how they were all about person freedoms when it came to vaccines? The only ideology that unifies this party is white supremacy and suppression of marginalized groups. #abpoli @Albertadoctors
Very exciting to see this publication come out, which enhances our understanding of natural hx of pituitary microadenomas and provides valuable guidance to clinicians. Thanks @Karavitaki_Niki for the opportunity to be involved and for leading this important work! @ESEndocrinology
Results on the natural history of non-functioning pituitary microadenomas now out! Large study from the UK NFPA consortium with valuable data for our clinical practice. Many thanks to all collaborators! doi.org/10.1093/ejendo/lvad0…

Just gonna leave this here
1/3 Excited to share our article just published in @MedEd_Journal with coauthors @SHernande @TitoDaodu and @ShannonRuzycki. We performed critical policy analysis of dress code policies from 14 undergraduate medical schools. onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/…
2/3 We found women were the focus of majority of restrictions. Policy language commonly upheld white, patriarchal norms as the standard of "professionalism." Regulations were not explained solely by safety or infection prevention.
