Operation Safe Streets continues to target human trafficking concerns in Dallas through proactive enforcement efforts. The Human Trafficking Unit conducted a demand suppression operation on February 26, 2026, which resulted in the arrest of 12 suspects. All are charged with Solicitation of Prostitution, a state jail felony. The Dallas Police Department is committed to interrupting and stopping human trafficking in Dallas, and providing compassionate care and resources for the survivors our officers encounter.

An illegal immigrant beheads a man in @CityofDallas.
Surveillance footage shows EMS arriving on scene before @DallasPD just as the suspect is disposing of the head in a nearby dumpster.
With no police present, EMS could have been seriously injured or worse.
