An important discussion on Canada’s national security in Toronto last night with @SherylSap, Phil Gurski (@borealissaves) and Ches Parsons. Thanks to @DMCBaxendale for moderating. Twenty-five years after 9/11, as Gurski examines in his new book 9/11: The Unfinished Battle, terrorism, foreign interference and economic subversion remain serious threats. Canada must meet them with resolve, for our people and our continent. Our national security is inseparable from our economic security, sovereignty and credibility alongside all of our alliances.

This is one of the most powerful and gut-wrenching testimonials I've ever heard in Parliament. Please watch it. In situations of divorce, Canadian law must prioritize the interests and wellbeing of children. Yet, bill C-223 would prevent judges in family court proceedings from even considering parental alienation. The bill says: "In determining what is in the best interests of the child, the court shall not take into consideration any allegation that a spouse has, or is likely to, through deliberate manipulation, persuade or encourage a child to become estranged from or resist contact with the other spouse." As Tamara explains, parental alienation is real and is deeply harmful.
I lost nearly 25 years with my father because I was taught to believe he was someone to fear. I know firsthand the damage parental alienation can do to a child, and I know that mothers can be responsible for it too. Today, I challenged Bill C-223 which could make it harder for courts to recognize when a loving father is being pushed out of his children’s lives. Children must be protected from abuse, but that includes emotional manipulation by either parent. Fathers matter. And children deserve the love of both parents when those relationships are safe. #BillC223 #FathersMatter #ParentalAlienation #ChildrensRights #FamilyLaw

“We are in the greatest crisis since the Second World War.” “President Trump is a transformational president.” “Integration is subordination.” “We want more integration…to Make America Great Again.” “Decry a world of fortresses.” “Let’s build Fortress North America.” “Our economic and cultural sovereignty is under attack. We are at war.” “We should form a Potash bloc.” “They want to break us to own us.” Now: “Had a long chat with President Trump.”
"I'm going to get a new deal." "We already have the best deal." "No deal is better than a bad deal." Now: "A bad deal is better than no deal at all." #cdnpoli

Washington puts America first. Why is the Prime Minister @MarkJCarney doing the same? American firms win the contracts. Canadian veterans are passed over. Canadian steel is shut out of our own national projects. Liberals have reduced economic sovereignty to a talking point while sacrificing the very workers and industries a sovereign Canadian should defend. Canada's future demands national ambition, transformational growth, and the self-respect to fight for our people and our workers.

Even more immigration? Mark Carney is totally out of touch. Conservatives are fighting to put Canadians first. Sign to back our plan to stop them: conservative.ca/cpc/fix-cana…

Shame on Mark Carney for forcing struggling single moms and small business owners in Canada to pay taxes for foreign aid to a place controlled by a terrorist dictatorship that refuses elections. Cut foreign aid. Put Canadians first for once.

UNREAL CARNEY'S Foreign Agent Registry in SHAMBLES. MILLIONS WASTED. Virtually ZERO agents registered. NO PLAN to track them down. NO PLAN to enforce THE LAW while Beijing runs RAMPANT. A TOTAL FARCE.

On a question of life and death, @TamaraJansenMP showed the courage, compassion, and moral clarity Parliament needs. Her Bill C-218 would have permanently stopped euthanasia from expanding to people whose only underlying condition is mental illness. She secured support from Conservatives, New Democrats, Greens, and even some Liberal MPs, forcing the government to state its position. The Liberals agreed the expansion must be stopped, yet voted down the bill that would have done it. Tamara stood up for the most vulnerable. Parliament still has a responsibility to do the same.

No extension of CUSMA. No date to resume formal negotiations. No end to the sectoral tariffs battering Canadian workers. Canadian business leaders confirmed the consequences at committee: investment on hold, uncertainty is growing, and no resolution in sight. Liberals are confusing refusing a bad deal with refusing to negotiate. Canadian workers and businesses are paying the price.

Conservatives have won another debate for Canada: stopping medical assistance in dying for mental illness. Canadians suffering with depression or other challenges deserve hope, help, and a long happy life. Conservative MP @TamaraJansenMP's bill forced the Liberals to backtrack. Her courageous work will continue to save countless lives.

.@bnaibrithcanada reiterates its support for Bill C-255, An Act to Amend the Criminal Code (mischief – religious property), which would strengthen the Criminal Code’s protections against vandalism targeting religious property. We call on every MP in the House of Commons to support @KellyBlockmp’s bill at second reading. It would help ensure that places of worship and cemeteries are protected from hate-motivated vandalism. As we noted in November 2025, the bill is “a crucial step in combating antisemitism and all forms of hate.”
We are proud to support @KellyBlockmp's new Private Member's Bill, C-255, An Act to Amend the Criminal Code (mischief – religious property). The proposed piece of legislation, which was seconded by @MelissaLantsman, strengthens penalties for vandalism targeting places of worship and cemeteries, a crucial step in combating antisemitism and all forms of hate. With the goal of protecting Canada's faith communities, we encourage its swift passage through both chambers of Parliament.

Another church has been lost in Canada. For nearly 70 years, All Saints Orthodox Church was a vessel for worship, community, charity and fellowship. Families were baptized there, married there, mourned there, raised funds there and came together in service to one another. More than 100 churches have been burned, vandalized or desecrated across Canada in recent years. Christianity is being targeted, and cowardly silence has become an enabler. There has been no urgency from Prime Minister @MarkJCarney and Minister @Gary_SRP. Those who burn churches to condemn “hatred” become the embodiment of that hatred. Protect our churches. Prosecute those responsible. cbc.ca/news/canada/saskatche…

A mob blocked a synagogue on Yom Kippur. A CBC journalist filmed it. He is now off the air and under investigation. CBC's own ombudsman ruled that lived experience is not a conflict of interest, and that it deepens their journalism. That standard apparently does not extend to Jewish journalists. Taxpayers fund this. torontosun.com/opinion/colum…

So it’s not a national security risk to disclose extremely hypothetical war planning to the New York Times. But it does pose a national security risk to disclose before Parliament a deal he walked away from? On behalf of millions of anxious Canadians for whom this isn’t a Liberal political game, we have many, many questions. ctvnews.ca/world/article/ana…

Two weeks ago, Prime Minister @MarkJCarney said Canada was in an economic war with the U.S. Now he wants a potash “bloc” with them. Which is it? Serious policy, or theatre for the polls?

One day, Carney says Canada is at war with the U.S. The next, he calls to form a bloc with them. He’s all over the map. Is this all just because he tries to capitalize from the political theatre?
