I am a zoomer, I talk to boomers a lot because most truckers are older than dirt. It always intrigued me how much trust boomers seem to have in everything.
For a significant amount of time, the structure of the world was set up in such a way that they could trust everything. Their pensions would arrive, their housing would be affordable, their neighbors would not steal from them.
I have always been skeptical because nothing has ever been true. Politicians admit I will never collect Social Security, they admit that they want to inflate home prices, they import people who are not trustworthy. I assume that everyone and everything is lying to me. Because they are.
So, for how long will zoomers continue to perpetuate a system that has betrayed us? The answer is not very long, it’s already happening as we opt out. Soon, with the right timing and momentum, it will be explosive.

My uncle did a mission trip to Africa to teach a village how to raise pigs for food.
They flew in with a bunch of pigs, built pens for them, Food and water troughs, and taught them how to breed them so they could always have meat. Two weeks of work and teaching.
They went back a year later to check on the village. They had thrown a giant party the night after my uncle left, slaughtered and ate all the pigs, sold the feeders and fencing, and were really pissed off that the mission didn't bring them more pigs.
