Forty years ago, the world faced one of the largest nuclear disasters – the fourth reactor of the Chornobyl Nuclear Power Plant exploded. A significant amount of radioactive material was released. Hundreds of thousands of people have been dealing with the consequences of that tragedy for years.
To contain the radiation, a sarcophagus was built over the destroyed reactor. Later, more than 40 countries enclosed it with the New Safe Confinement to prevent further disasters.
These two structures are what protect against radioactive releases and contamination. Their maintenance and protection are in everyone’s interest. But through its war, Russia is once again bringing the world to the brink of a man-made disaster – Russian-Iranian “shaheds” regularly fly over the plant, and one of them struck the confinement last year.
The world must not allow this nuclear terrorism to continue, and the best way is to force Russia to stop its reckless attacks.
We remember everyone who gave their lives while dealing with the aftermath of this tragedy. May all the victims of the Chornobyl disaster rest in peace.

Den 12 december står Volodymyr Zelenskyj vid infarten till Kupjansk 1,2 km från omringade och avskurna ryska soldater i samma Kupjansk. 🇸🇪💪

🇱🇹 Bravo! Lithuania has cut the last wires that connected it to Russia
The national electricity transmission operator Litgrid announced the complete dismantling of cross-border power lines that linked the country with Russia’s Kaliningrad region.
🔻The dismantling began in early February this year — right after the Baltic states synchronized with Europe’s power grid, ending 65 years of operating in the same system with Russia and Belarus. Minsk, by the way, will be cut off soon as well — the removal of lines is scheduled for 2027.
The door to the Soviet past is being shut and firmly blocked. What a brilliant move!

In Russia there is such a place as the "Yamal Cross". This is the intersection of 17 main gas pipelines, which together transport ~80% of all gas in the Russian Federation.
If at least 8 of the 17 pipes fail, which is 47% of the capacity. Russia will be forced to spend $200 mln

I Ukraina 🇺🇦 har Polens 🇵🇱 ”FBI” i samarbete med ukrainsk nationell polis genomfört en storskalig operation som syftade till att eliminera produktionsplatser för syntetiska opioider och katinoner. Den mängd metadon som säkrades skulle kunna ta död på nästan 4 000 000 människor.

Bild på F-16 flygplan över Ukraina med (till synes) full beväpning, bl a jaktroboten Amraam eller Robot 99 som den heter i JAS-39-version. En utmärkt radarstyrd robot som ersatt den gamla robot 71 Sky Flash som jag själv använt för många år sedan i FV. Med amerikanska Amraam kan Ukraina bekämpa ryskt bombflyg framifrån på upp till 75 km:s avstånd i mörker eller moln och svänga hemåt i skydd innan de ryska piloterna får syn på den, tack vare robotens inbyggda, oberoende radarsystem. F-16 kan nog få den ryska flygvapenchefen att vakna upp kallsvettig om nätterna. 💪😀 (Foto: Ukrainian Air Force)
