I use an #aquacel dressing. Dressing is waterproof and patients can shower right away. We leave it in place 7 days.

I had my left knee done last October. I had a transfer bench in the tub & had my left leg outside the tub with the shower curtain wrapped around me to keep water from getting everywhere. Not sure what I'll do when my right knee gets replaced.

Elevate your knees or put a wedge/pillow between them and try sleeping on ur side. It was an adjustment now I HAVE to sleep this way. My replacement joints arent as stiff when I awake

Our Director of the OR, Mary Ellen, had a total knee replacement seven years ago and is still going strong on our missions. She is in charge of cargo and spends over 12 hours a day on her feet during surgery coordinating and directing surgeries for @OPWalkLA while in country.

I had two total knee replacements. One in January 2018 and the other in January 2019. I push mowed my yard on consecutive days, with no pain whatsoever. #Bonesmart
