As a solo dev, negative reviews and sometimes people just telling me to give up really bothered me. In terms of mental health balance, I can say in todays world, I'd rather work on an indie game team. In just a short months, I've been able to actually enjoy what I've made.

Oderys is an elven homunculus brought back to life as the emissary of lust. Murdered and betrayed by her own family, she clings to magical constructs with unyielding loyalty. Oleg really cooked with this design, now we just need the right voice.

Played alot of woodsy soulslike areas today to get in the right headspace for this area. Don't remember the lighting being so weird in the Farron area of dark souls 3, but the layout is immaculate.

Trying to get the atmosphere right for this area. It's raining lightly and there's a ton of overgrowth so a greener tint makes sense, but the bluer tone compliments the rain?🤔

Opening this app makes me lose faith in mankind. Anyhoo here's more level building screenshots. New video coming soon once I get all my story boards done for the animation team.

Level building progress on the new player hub. Blacksmith areas done, so now I gotta finish the trader, the "bonfire keeper" and a small weapon testing area. Getting some story boarding done too for the animation teams new cutscenes.

Convinced level building will always be the best part about game dev.
