Get a solid upper arm blood pressure cuff, I like OMRON ($40-60 lifesaving investment). Check your blood pressure and keep a log. Talk to your practitioner if your numbers are elevated. 1/3

Alright Twitter Fam. This is the time I start to sound desperate. With 6 weeks left in our calendar year we have only enough liquid cash to cover 1 doula contract & ZERO home births. Can you help spread the word? I need $5000 this week to meet 2022 goals gofundme.com/f/black-midwive…

When I see Black Women doing research on Black Women and girls, I get a warm feeling inside. When I was doing my doctorate, the research that existed was limited. Everyday I see more and more of your work filling these gaps. Research for us by us is such a beautiful thing.
