When Trump said he can shoot someone in the middle of 5th Ave and lose no support he literally meant it and foresaw how his herd of sheep would defend him in literally any and every situation. Literally.

NEWS: Trump's in-person Iowa rally this weekend, scheduled for Dubuque on Sunday, has been canceled and replaced with a tele-rally, according to three sources familiar with the decision. The idea is to maximize Trump’s time and reach as many voters as possible, one source said, and tele-rallies allow him to cover more ground.

Sneaky big winner of the 2026 midterms could be Obama.
Won a whole news cycle with a joke. Made Republicans look like fools acting like Cheesecake Factory foyers are as sacred as an American flag. Ossoff is crushing with a Millennial Obama act, El Sayed has mended bridges, and here’s Talarico updating the 2004 DNC speech vibes for 2026.
Q: Are you the one who’s going to turn Texas blue?
@JamesTalarico: I’m not interested in turning Texas blue. I wanna win this seat so that I can fight for all 31 million Texans — whether they’re Democrats, independents, or Republicans.
My party talks about turning Texas blue a lot. Republicans talk about keeping Texas red. I think the best color for Texas is purple.
When you have a purple state and competitive elections, it forces every politician in both parties to stay on their toes. My hope in this race is that we can end 30 years of one-party rule and get competitive elections back in Texas so politicians are actually solving problems.

Mark Halperin claims that “privately, most Republicans are conceding that Ohio, Kansas, and North Carolina are lost. If those are lost, it’s almost certain that Democrats will pick up at least one more seat, and that’s ballgame.”

DDHQ FORECAST UPDATE (10/29): Texas
James Talarico has a 60% win probability in Texas's Senate race.
In our polling average, he has a four-point lead over Republican Ken Paxton.
Democrats need to flip four seats to win control of the Senate.
This polling guy who is clearly conservative is telling people that Talarico is basically winning right now based on his model and the MAGA folks are having a meltdown 🤣
Replying to @GarrettHaake
GOP sources say the President's team was getting a flurry of phone calls last night - even before he left Ohio - asking for more in person events. With time the only real finite resource, White House opting for more tele-rallies. Sunday rally in Iowa still up in the air.

The White House is pulling down Saturday's rally in Kansas, and actively working to schedule as many as 20 tele-rallies for the President before Tuesday. A White House official calls this a "shotgun approach" to spreading the President's support to as many races as possible.
This a smart strategy for him. Simply tell the fucking truth
