Whop has raised $200M in Series D funding at a $5.1B valuation, backed by @sequoia and @shopify.
It really feels like we are barely touching the tip of the iceberg in a market larger than anyone can imagine.
We first launched Whop as a better way for us to sell sneaker bots, one of the most niche types of desktop software out there.
Total TAM? Probably $20,000 per day.
Who cares, tiny market.
But, what people discounted is the idea that there were actually 70,000 other markets exactly like that one.
Beyond the investment itself, I am especially excited to welcome legendary silicon valley investor @dougleone to our board of directors. Doug and the sequoia team are nothing but a brilliant, resourceful, and principled group of people.
My co-founder Cameron and I started building on Shopify when we were 13 years old. Shopify is one of the most impactful all-in-one cloud ecosystems ever created; @tobi has pioneered modern entrepreneurship the way we know it and we are thrilled to have him in our corner.
We have a tenet at Whop to be the dumbest in the room and I am very grateful that this has recently become a lot easier.
We are focused on markets, scale economies, and progressive media. If that is up your alley, please message me directly.
The $200M raised will support our expansion as we build economic infrastructure for the next century, continuing on our mission of delivering everyone an income.

StreetTalk has reached 8 figures in ARR and $100M in attributable revenue.
Today we're Introducing AGC: Authentic Generated Content™.
AGC is the world's first ad that nobody knows is an ad.
Advertising has become fake:
-Celebrity endorsements became Influencer Marketing.
-Influencer marketing became "UGC"
-and now we have AI UGC...
People want to buy from other people. 71% of consumers regret influencer driven purchases.Â
We built AGC to be completely different.Â
How it works:
1. We record hours of footage of real people using your product.Â
2. We clip these reactions into creative using our team of real human editors.
The key difference: instead of strategizing content, we shoot hours of real authentic reactions then we clips these reactions rather than the other way around.
It's @garyvee method of documenting and not creating.
So far it's working: on avg AGC leads to a 4x ROAS on new customer revenue.Â
Everything in my life has lead to this moment.
In highschool I was called “an idiot ”. I was in special ed. I dropped out of college with a 2.1 GPA with full conviction Street Interviews were the future of advertising.Â
I had a massive chip on my shoulder. I still do. I channel that energy into building StreetTalk. This is my life’s work.
If you’re a client, friend or supporter, from the bottom of my heart, thank you.

AI has made the gap from idea → execution (close to) zero
+ With more platforms like Whop integrating with Claude Code / Codex
You can go from idea → build → launch in a few hours
Here’s how I launched a low-ticket product (live page, checkout) in less than 15 minutes:

We are excited to announce that @tether, the largest stablecoin company in the world, is making a strategic investment of $200M into Whop, valuing us at $1.6B.
Our partnership with Tether marks a major step in building the world's largest internet market. Tether is committed to enabling everyone in the world to participate in the new internet economy. The way humans work and create value is changing fast. The world needs both an open internet market giving people a platform to conduct business, as well as a transparent payments network.
Tether and Whop together will work to bring a sustainable income to billions of people throughout the world. There is enormous opportunity when you combine Tether’s global scale and wallet technology with Whop’s community of next generation entrepreneurs.
My co-founders and I met as teenagers on the internet selling software. We first launched Whop as a way for us to sell our own software to people in Facebook and Discord forums. Prior to Whop, the place we found customers was different from the place we collected payments, different from the place we talked to customers, and there wasn’t a central place to “do business” on the internet.
In partnership with Tether, we will be scaling infrastructure in real-time for new business models as they emerge across the globe.
The job is just getting started.

January was a record breaking month for Whop.
> $240,000,000 earned by users globally
> Avg 50,000 user signups per day
> 252,000 businesses created
> 12 month NRR came in at 140%
We’ve seen strong growth across all existing categories, and with recent partners, users on the Whop network can now sublease apartments, buy tickets, get paid for data-labeling jobs, and so much more.
We remain committed to being where the internet does business.
