Today it's "Death to the IDF", next will come "Death to the Zionists", followed by "Death to the Jews". I used to wonder how things could spiral the way they did in Nazi Germany. Seeing it with my own eyes is something else... #Glastonbury2025

If the Ed Sheeran story proves anything, it's that you're either with the angry fascist mob or you're against them. No middle ground, no neutrality. And most of you chose the easy path and picked up a torch and pitchfork. Nutters.

Last night yet another synagogue, this time in Kenton, was targeted in a cowardly arson attack. It follows the attack in Finchley on Wednesday and the attempted attack on what was the Jewish Futures building in Hendon on Friday night, making three Jewish sites attacked in London in less than a week. A sustained campaign of violence and intimidation against the Jewish community of the UK is gathering momentum. This sustained attack on our community’s ability to worship and live in safety is an attack on the values that bind us all together. Thank God, no lives have been lost, but we cannot, and must not, wait for that to change before we understand just how dangerous this moment is for all of our society.

None. Every country Israel has conducted military strikes against—Egypt, Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, Iraq, Iran, Yemen, Tunisia—had either attacked Israel, issued explicit threats of attack, or hosted/supported groups (PLO, Hezbollah, Hamas, Houthis) that planned or executed attacks on Israel. No exceptions in the historical record.

I can't say this is unexpected. This is the UK, 2026.
Update on David Collings exhibit at Margate’s Joseph Wales gallery. Kent police sergeant just called. He told me: no action to be taken. The pictures (a few below) are in his view ‘criticism of the Israeli state’. He said ‘because some Israelis happen to be Jews it doesn’t mean it’s antisemitic’. He said: ‘you’re obviously very passionate’. (Thereby dismissing my complaint). I tried to tell him that he was perhaps not best judged to evaluate antisemitic content if his view was that this was not ‘Nazi imagery’ but ‘criticism of the Israeli state’ and could he possibly send someone who knew more about this stuff. ‘No police officer is an expert in racism’, he told me, oddly. I gave him some friendly, if ‘passionate’ advice: sometimes ‘criticism of the Israeli state’ overlaps with anti-Semitic content and incitement. This is one such case. I’ll be complaining - please join in. Case 21-0938 I always want to believe the best of the polite agents of the law on the other end of the phone. But this well-spoken man telling me that hail of swastikas and blood and Jews was nothing but ‘criticism of the Israeli state’ is why we are where we are, why Jews don’t expect anything from the police, and how we find tha Kent police are exactly in tune with Matthew Collings.

In Margate. My cheeks are red. I am shaking. I popped into an exhibition that turned out to be the insane fever dream of an artist called Matthew Collins: ‘Drawings Against Genocide.’ The exhibition is described as ‘drawings… raising consciousness about hell…. Israel is the pure encapsulation of it. Zionism is this terror state’s ruling ideology.’ Shocked by the use of Nazi imagery - the room is full of the Star of David pasted around figures meant to be Israelis and the Jewish ‘lobby’ spewing blood, to say nothing of blonde yummy mummies wearing ‘globalise the intifada’ shirts, I spoke to the artist to share my reaction as a Jewish person. He was instantly aggressive. As soon as I started to say I was shocked and threatened by what I was seeing because it was Nazi imagery, the artist started yelling at me that I didn’t mean anything I was saying. Anytime I tried to speak (calmly) he said: ‘you don’t mean any of what you said, you’re just repeating ‘hasbarah talking points’ because ‘you’re defending a genocide’. On and on he yelled, in my face. I said: ‘if I was a Black person…’ but couldn’t finish the sentence because: ‘you’re not are you?’ On the Nazi ideology point he said: ‘yeah. Why do you think it’s there. Israel are the Nazis’. His breath was disgusting. The crowd began booing and closing in around me, making to shoe me out. I said: ‘fine, get the Jew out’ and he yelled more across the room at me, ‘repeatedly jeering ‘call the police, go ahead, call the police’. I said I would, and the community security trust, which features as a devil in his exhibition. This was met with even more jeering. ‘Yeah, call the CST’ was the last I heard before leaving. Someone snapped pictures of me while I was being shouted at. Short video shows the artist. The longer video, of our final almost surreally disgusting exchange, didn’t record.

The @cbbc is currently running a sympathy piece on Iran, showing children talk about how amazing it is. Neither I nor any of my searches can bring up any time the same was said about Israel since Oct 7 2023. The @BBC is currently in the FA stage.

Translation: The status quo of funding global terrorism to achieve regional political goals that would result in the massacre of millions could have been kept but you ruined it for me! Who's gonna fund me now 😭
The attacks on Iran by Israel and the United States are illegal, unprovoked and unjustifiable. Peace and diplomacy was possible. Instead, Israel and the United States chose war. This is the behaviour of rogue states — and they have jeopardised the safety of humankind around the world with this catastrophic act of aggression. Our government must condemn this flagrant breach of international law, and urgently pursue a foreign policy based on justice, sovereignty and peace.

We're going to see a lot of "thoughts and prayers" tweets over the next 24 hours. Rest assured, many of these people log off and celebrate what happened in Australia. Next week they will continue to demonise Jews and put targets on our collective backs. It's theatre.

Our journalism at Sky News is under attack from pro-Palestinian activists. It was deeply disturbing to be told two months ago that a group of pro-Palestinian activists had lodged a formal complaint with the Australian Human Rights commission about my reporting in the wake of the October 7 attacks. It related to my Sky News program from October 2023 until December 2023 - literally right after the Hamas attacks. We were informed yesterday by the Human Rights Commission that they have TERMINATED the complaint by the pro-Palestinian activists. Now, I haven’t mentioned any of this publicly because I respected the confidential process of the AHRC. The first name listed on the complaint is Nasser Mashni, the second is Peter Slezak and the third is Claudia Karvan. The rest are anonymous. But despite Claudia Karvan being the subject of the Herald’s article - the Commission never accepted her complaint. The email from the Human Rights Commission to us on 25th August when we were first notified about the complaint states: "The complaint sought to name 11 complainants. However, the Assessment Delegate has formed the view that the claims on behalf of Claudia Karvan and Mehreen* do not meet the requirements of a valid complaint under section 46P of the AHRCA, as it is unclear how they are a person aggrieved by the alleged conduct.” So the Human Rights Commission deemed it to be unclear how Claudia Karvan could be aggrieved by my reporting on the Hamas attacks and antisemitism right after October 7 2023. The Sydney Morning Herald knew this yet still chose to make Claudia Karvan the focus of their article. As for Nasser Mashni, he has described some jews as “filth”, he has called Zionists “filthy”, and in several media appearances he either couldn’t bring himself to call Hamas a terrorist group or unequivocally condemn the October 7 attacks. It's abhorrent that an individual who has called some Jews "filth" and has refused to specifically condemn the October 7 attacks as terrorism would pursue me, Australia's only Jewish nightly television host, over my coverage of antisemitism and the Hamas attacks. Those who stand alongside him should be ashamed. Now, the Herald claims there are four complaints about News Corp but that was news to us - we had only received from the Human Rights Commission one complaint about me. We knew nothing about the other three prior to being contacted by the Herald. I’m pleased the Human Rights Commission has rightly terminated this vexatious complaint by these pro-Palestinian activists against me. I won’t be intimidated or silenced. I’ll continue to stand up for what’s right - thanks to the support of Sky News. Watch report here: skynews.com.au/opinion/sharr…

This morning as I sat in a London synagogue for Yom Kippur services, a friend sitting next to me said “I reckon Jews have about 10 years left in this country.” I said I disagreed, and that it’s not as bad as it seems. About 20 minutes later, the service was suddenly interrupted. A synagogue security official went up to the bimah and said there had been a “major incident” in the north and they were locking down the synagogue. There was a buzz of fear. Children’s services were canceled. We were not to leave. My friend looked at me, and said, “You see what I mean. 10 years.” In 2025, two Jews were murdered for the crime of praying in a synagogue in Britain. Truth is, I don’t know a single Jewish family in London who doesn’t speak openly and often about leaving. These are dyed in the wool Brits, who love this country. But they are watching the England they know disintegrate around them. British Jews have lost the right to security and safety. The response by authorities to this attack is to pledge more security at Jewish schools and synagogues. They’re just restating the problem. Why should Jewish kids go to school in London or Manchester under a phalanx of security guards? Why do synagogues need a rotation of specially trained guards at every event? (For what it’s worth not a single police officer showed up at our synagogue after the attack in Manchester. Guess they were busy.) Jewish parents who pass by secular and non-Jewish parochial schools might gaze in wonder - perhaps envy - at the sight of children entering their schools without six or seven men in stab vests standing guard. And Keir Starmer comes out with his valiant statement “We will defeat antisemitism.” No. They will tolerate it, ally with it, reward its most virulent proponents. And the most insane part is that I write this with full knowledge that it’s me who might get the knock on my door from the police to ask me about this very tweet, which they find “concerning.” Tell me how to make sense of it.
Manchester, England - this monster just murdered two Jews walking into synagogue on Yom Kippur and put two more in the hospital. This is what globalize the intifada looks like.

If you were one of those doubtless well meaning middle class white people wearing a keffiyeh and chanting "Globalise the intifada" you really should know what happened in Manchester today is what you were calling for. That's EXACTLY what it involves.

Now that #grahamlinehan is safely locked away behind bars, perhaps one of the five officers who arrested him is free to look for the gentleman following and taking photos of children where I live? Not as serious a crime, of course - but would still be nice.

Somewhere 16 articles down from the headline of the Daily Mail, we discover that the left in this country now finds it appropriate to shoot Jewish teens. The media will have a lot to answer for when this is all over, just like the Palestinianists.
