Let me say this very directly. Football does not belong to investors. It belongs to the people who fill the standsĀ and who stand on the touchline week in, week out,Ā rain or shine. The World Cup is not a product. It is the greatest competition in world sport, and it was never anyone's to sell. Dress the deal up however you like. Once you have sold a piece of it, you have sold out. Football belongs to the fans. It always has, and it always will.

This is a wild generalisation. It is based on personal anecdote, not representative evidence. Africa has 54 countries and more than a billion people with very different political views, so saying ā€œmany Africans love Trumpā€ without data is broad, subjective, and analytically weak. At best, what Larry is really saying is, ā€œI personally encounter a lot of Africans who support Trump.ā€ That reflects his experience, not the continent. Anecdote is not data, and personal encounters cannot be elevated into a continental conclusion.
Many Africans love President Trump's conservative values and straight talk. I said that on CNN and some accused me of lying. Africa is not a monolith, of course, but I travel around it full time and I meet more Trump fans than haters. Where do you stand?

🚨 Pep Guardiola hits back at Jim Ratcliffe: "We treat immigrants or people that come from other countries like they are the ones causing problems for our country. It's a big problem because the fact I am Catalan and you are British? What influence did we have on where we were born? "Everyone wants to have a better life, everyone wants to have a better future for themselves and their families. Sometimes the opportunities are where you are born and sometimes it is in the place where you go. "The colour of your skin or the place where you were born don't make a difference. "Most people run away from their countries for the problems that are in their country, not because they want to leave. "The more we embrace other cultures, truly embrace it, then we will have a better society - I do not have any doubts about that."

The worst thing about Radcliffe, Trump, Musk, Tice etc is that they’re wealthy beyond all comprehension, life couldn’t have dealt them a better hand, and all they ever do is fucking complain about shit. How about just enjoy your fucking life? And maybe pay some taxes to help out?

Bit of a personal post so forgive me. Our daughter is having major surgery. Doctor after doctor coming in before surgery kicks off. We don’t see white, black or brown. We just see highly skilled, highly trained, highly professional, highly motivated medics.

As an Arsenal fan, I have always enjoyed our historic rivalry with Manchester Utd. Above all, I admire its identity as a diverse club with players & fans from all over the world. Jim Ratcliffe’s comments are a disgrace. Migrants aren’t the problem. Tax-dodging billionaires are.

Britain colonised us, not the other way around – at Sandton, South Africa
Manchester United co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe believes the United Kingdom has been ā€œcolonised by immigrantsā€. Ratcliffe, who moved to Monaco in 2020, said the UK needs a prime minister who is ā€œprepared to be unpopular … to get the big issues sortedā€, comparing that role to his own at United, where he has been ā€œvery unpopularā€ because of the changes made since his arrival in 2024. ā€œYou can’t have an economy with nine million people on benefits and huge levels of immigrants coming in,ā€ Ratcliffe, 73, told Sky. ā€œI mean, the UK has been colonised. It’s costing too much money. ā€œThe UK has been colonised by immigrants, really, hasn’t it? I mean, the population of the UK was 58 million in 2020, now it’s 70 million. That’s 12 million people.ā€ The UK’s Office for National Statistics estimated that the UK population was 69.5 million in November 2025, compared to 67.1 million in 2020. The ONS also estimated that the UK’s long-term net migration was 204,000 from 2024 to 2025. According to a House of Commons research briefing from January of this year there were 1.68 million people, as of December 2025, claiming unemployment-related benefits in the UK.
