Dead Bloom #428 🥀 1 of 666 from INFLATION by @harto_fr: a century of real prices (1924→2024), onchain, one year per day. Burned 2 La Floristería → 1 FLOWER → sacrificed it. The animation lives fully onchain on Ethereum. harto.es/inflation

It was great to see @NEORT in Marfa and the Quietus Machine exhibition in the @artblocks_io House was truly special, please come back. 🙏 Can't wait to see what you guys have in store for next year, but I can only imagine that it's bigger and better than what I witnessed this year. Kudos to you @NORIWTS and @toshiaki_takase, as well as @themassagejp for his excellent curation. Feeling privileged to witness your collaboration with @ArtOnBlockchain which is resulting in such a special East-West connection for generative art paired with physical devices.

Having a hard time putting this past weekend in Marfa into words, but just feeling so full of gratitude. From the bottom of my heart, thank you so much to everyone who came to my show on Saturday. Seeing so many people come out to support my work was surreal, and I'm truly grateful. But more than anything, thank you to all of the amazing people I got to spend time with. The energy all weekend was so genuine, thoughtful, and welcoming. Just an incredible group of people no matter where I went. Finally meeting old friends in person for the first time, making a ton of new ones, and getting to experience so much incredible art all in one weekend was something I'll never forget. I came home with so much gratitude, inspiration, and a bit of a hangover lol. I've genuinely never been more excited about this space and the incredible people who make it what it is. Already looking forward to seeing everyone again. A huge thank you to @opensea, @museumartlight , and @sbmckeon for making my show possible. It means the world to me. I shot most of the weekend on film, so once I get my scans back I'll be sending photos directly to everyone. Already excited for next year!

'Starlight x Marfa Weekend' Online Collection 💫 I was supposed to launch on the day of the Marfa Art Fair, but the internet was struggling at times. Therefore, since I am back home with a consistent connection, I will be launching my art shop this Wednesday. If you couldn't make it to Marfa and/or want to have 'Starlight x Marfa Weekend' collectibles, this will be your chance. Each is limited in supply. Here is a teaser with some of the items!

Calling all artists, a new grant from @rhizome supported by @larvalabs: PERMANENCE. This is a very "Matt & John" brief ;) Larva tries to make everything they do truly durable. If almost everything around the work disappeared (the website, the company, the software, and maybe even the infrastructure it depended on), they still try to provide a way for the work to persevere. There is no perfect solution and every approach will have flaws. Blockchains like Ethereum offer one answer: convince a lot of people to care about something and offer incentives to keep preserving data together. Some solutions could rely on a physical approach. Think of the Rosetta Stone, using only a type of local granite, it retained a way to unlock the information it contained. It also illustrates that physical and informational durability are two different aspects of this challenge. Now it's your turn, make something permanent. Apply by November 20! microgrants.rhizome.org
⛳️Rhizome microgrants are open! Apply by November 20 for grants between $500- 1500! We invite proposals in the following categories: 🫆PERMANENCE, in partnership with @larvalabs,🛠️MISUSE, ✋HANDMADE & 💬CO-OP. Visit microgrants.rhizome.org for more details + to apply!

@sbmckeon and Michelle have created an incredible space from the iconic Christophers'. Added a beautiful venue to Marfa and held a hell of an opening party. They also generously give us artist a space to exhibit our work. Thank you for being such gracious hosts. Could not have asked for a better custodian for Plinth #04, finding its permanent home in Marfa.

Congrats!!! 🔥
GM everyone! After a day of processing and taking it all in, I could finally sit and write everything there is to say about my exhibition. Living Memories has been six years in the making Six years of traveling across Japan Six years of creating individual pieces, and building an archive of moments. When I first moved to Japan, everything felt unfamiliar, as if I were living inside a movie. From the moment we (my wife and I) created our first piece, I dreamed of building a space where others could step into that feeling. Seeing familiar faces, people who have known me since that first piece in 2021, experience this evolution filled me with joy and nostalgia. These six years have been about more than creating art, they’ve also been about building unforgettable friendships. I want to thank from the bottom of my heart, everyone who experienced "Living Memories" and helped bring these crazy ideas to life. @adamilenich, your kindness and commitment to putting artists first have helped make this dream possible. I can’t thank you enough for everything you continue to do for me and the studio. @lisac8tlin & @museumartlight, thank you for everything over the past two months. You helped make one of my dreams come true. An exhibition like this requires the right space, equipment, pieces, and people. @sbmckeon, thank you for opening your beautiful gallery to us and allowing Living Memories to be its first exhibition. At first, I was nervous, wondering whether anyone would come. Then, little by little, friends began to arrive. Sitting on the couch alongside @Dannyb0yyy_, @ArtOnBlockchain @AdamWeitsman @redbeardnft @eli_schein @nullinger @RogerDickerman @MaryPatBing @NedRyersonBing @TheMiamiApe @Daimon444 @punk8164 @tonyherrera @bryanbrinkman @OmarZRobles @WAPSHOP_ETH @musicalnetta @dutchtide @SuperchiefNFT @jared_poz and so many more, telling them our wild stories and watching their reactions while hearing what the work made them feel, filled my heart. I wish I could remember every beautiful thing people shared with me. Thank you to the Museum of Art and Light for everything, from logistics to projection mapping, and, above all, for your friendship. You felt like family. This is only a glimpse of what we’ll create together. Despite the drama and speculation surrounding the timeline, gatherings like Art Blocks Marfa remind me why I’m here. Thank you to @artblocks_io and @opensea for supporting artists and creating spaces where we can share our passion. Sharing the process behind each piece meant so much to me. In an era of artificial intelligence, I wanted people to feel the time, care, and human experience woven into this work. Watching the pieces brought back memories of journeys with my wife: scouting locations, carrying equipment, filming through snow and typhoons, and experiencing everything that unfolded along the way. Living Memories is our journal, a record of two free spirits trying to create, explore, and live fully together. I hope it becomes part of our legacy and awakens a sense of wonder in others. Life is made of moments, and those moments become memories. Thank you all for being part of ours. CHECK ALL THE PHOTOS AND VIDEOS BELOW 🔽

Together with @Fountainxyz x @LACMA , we're presenting LIFT (together) tonight at glitch. @ArtOnBlockchain 's extension of his generative collection LIFT ( a self portrait), we're eager to show you how we believe the space has evolved, one year later.

3/ To kick things off, on Thursday (October 22) glitch x @LACMA will present new work from @artonblockchain, deploying live in its first location in Marfa, TX. LIFT (together) We left Art Blocks Weekend 2025 with hope – on that final night, the community succeeded in helping Snowfro lift the boulder. But somewhere along the way, we dropped it. The second act begins now, and it’s time to LIFT (together) in Part II: FAILURE MODE When disaster strikes, food and drinks will still be served. Marfa Community: 5:00pm-6:00pm Open Exhibition: 6:00pm-9:00pm Proudly sponsored in collaboration with @LACMA Digital Leaders and the killer crew at @Fountain_xyz.

Erick continues to push the boundaries of participatory art. LIFT (together) is a brilliant evolution of the original piece. Can't wait to generate my character and join the collective effort.
Many of y’all helped me lift the rock last year with the original LIFT (a self portrait) release and then again during @artblocks_io Marfa Weekend at the wonderful exhibition that @glitchmarfa put on to celebrate the project. Tonight we are debuting LIFT (together), a 1/1 interactive self replicating artwork that invites you to generate a character, compete to see who can lift the rock the fastest, and permanently live inside an ever evolving artwork celebrating collective human perseverance (and sometimes defeat). Excited for y’all to give it a whirl. The goal is that this artwork travels to give new audiences an opportunity to experience my work and also digital/generative/blockchain art in a way that feels intuitive and participatory. Thank you again for being a part of this and grateful to the entire glitch team all the wonderful humans involved in bringing this experience to life.

roughly two years ago @artonblockchain shared an idea with me for an onchain generative artwork it was titled: LIFT (a self portrait) the collection was deployed on @ethereum in august 2025 powered by @artblocks_io contracts LIFT (a self portrait) consisted of 1,000 procedurally generated, fully onchain artworks and video games, each playable through a Game Boy Advance emulator or physical cartridge at the center of each game was a character called 'pixel man' a procedurally generated self-portrait of snowfro who was asked to lift a heavy boulder with the assistance of his onchain friends, while overcoming obstacles and opposing forces over 300+ artists and friends of @artonblockchain were invited to create onchain pixel supporters for the project, which populate across all the 1,000 unique artworks importantly the network snowfro built around LIFT (a self portrait) was always meant to be a starting point the beginning snowfro had a much larger network he wanted to build designed around the second chapter of his LIFT universe tonight in marfa TX our team at @glitchmarfa is honored to present snowfro's second chapter in partnership with @LACMA and sponsored by @Fountainxyz the new collection is called LIFT (together) LIFT (together) is an interactive artwork and system designed by Snowfro combining a physical pedestal, offchain software, the @ethereum blockchain, and a global competition the system invites anyone to walk up to the pedestal design their very own pixel supporter engage in a game of speed and help lift snowfro’s rock upon completion the system generates a 1/1/x onchain exhibition poster on @ethereum each onchain poster is also unique artwork, incorporating your designed pixel character, procedurally generated assets, and elements using @ethereum entropy a small number of artworks in the collection may also find *rare* and *very rare* artwork attributes each exhibition poster is also a record of location, printed on each artwork over the next decade the LIFT (together) pedestal will travel across the world allowing collectors across different geographies and institutions to join snowfro’s onchain network and tonight, the journey begins in marfa, TX join us at @glitchmarfa ❤️ gm
