Gilead used public taxes (ie our money) to develop the COVID-19 drug remdesivir. Aaaand now we'll pay Gilead 300x the base cost to use the drug we helped make. This is how drugs are made & sold in America. We must demand what we are owed: public ownership of pharmaceuticals.
