Had such a great time working on this with @jblaze8911, from post-talk idea to publication. So happy to see it out in @npp_journal! Congratulations @EricJNestler @AkbarianLab @VannaZachariou
We're so proud of the team effort that went into this one! Check out our recent publication in @npp_journal linking tRNA epitranscriptomics with opioid use @JDCalebBrowne @EricJNestler @AkbarianLab @VannaZachariou nature.com/articles/s41386-0…

Excited to share the new preprint from the lab. We found that early life stress (ELS) disrupts the brain-wide functional connectivity of the raphe nucleus and parsed out the individual circuits to rescue ELS-induced anxiety @RamkumarRaksha @moriah_edge @DTerstege @nk_sakib

1/3 New serotonin (5-HT) GRAB sensors! We developed largely-improved green and all-new red genetically encoded fluorescent 5-HT sensors for dual-color imaging in vivo. Using these new 5-HT sensors, we are able to simultaneously monitor 5-HT and other neurochemicals.
