Why is Poland in a constitutional mess?
The cause goes back to 1989, and its name is post-communism.
Last Friday, a judge suspended the president of the Constitutional Tribunal. His side says she is no judge at all and calls it a coup. The government calls it restoring the rule of law. Police are keeping him out of his own court, and the President of the Republic turned his plane around on the way to Senegal.
Everyone is asking who is right. Nobody is asking why, 37 years after 1989, the Polish State can't answer that question.
It was built not to. The system installed in Poland in the '90s is deliberately dysfunctional. The constitutional order is a mess on purpose – so that we have chaos, so that thieves can steal and foreign influences can do their thing.
The men leaving power in 1989 feared one thing: a state strong enough to come after them. So they left a weak one. The presidency was created as a chair for General Jaruzelski. The 1997 Constitution came out of a parliament with a post-communist majority.
Power was split so that no one really holds it. The president, elected by the whole nation, can block things but run almost nothing. The government runs everything, until it is blocked. The top judges are chosen by the players.
It all works as long as both sides behave. Nothing says what happens when they don't. I traded derivatives. No trader would sign a contract with no clause for a dispute. The Polish State runs on one.
When no one can say who is a lawful judge, no one can be lawfully judged, and the thief walks free. When Poles can't settle who is right, foreigners settle it: one camp phones Brussels, the other Washington.
For twenty years, each camp has fought to capture the post-communist State. The winner gets the keys. The machine stays, and so do the thieves.
We need to establish a new, free Polish State. 🇵🇱🗽✌🏻

I started digging into who actually received the warnings about migrant children being exploited under the Biden administration.
Stephen Antkowiak. Xavier Becerra. Susan Rice's White House team. Tyler Moran.
On July 23, 2021, 11 supervisors at the Office of Refugee Resettlement sent a formal warning directly to Antkowiak, the division director.
They warned that labor trafficking was increasing and that leadership was rewarding employees for getting children released quickly rather than preventing unsafe placements.
Here's another disturbing detail.
Months earlier, according to that same memo, Antkowiak told White House aide Vivian Graubard that emergency facilities weren't even safe for children yet.
The New York Times later found that warnings about children at risk reached HHS Secretary Xavier Becerra.
Susan Rice's White House team received the 2021 trafficking warning. Two sources told the Times that Rice was personally briefed, although the White House denied it.
Biden's senior migration adviser Tyler Moran acknowledged that the White House relied on HHS to determine how seriously to take the warnings.
Now I want to see the emails, the responses, the meeting records, and the decisions made after each warning.

PolicyLink appears again in the Democracy Files. Here, you can see PolicyLink personnel use the same language we've seen in prior drops: founders, a new founding, redesigning the federal government.
PolicyLink has over $100 million in assets and receives its funding from all the usual suspects - Rockefeller, Open Society, Ford, Gates, etc. It has worked closely with Democratic administrations in setting policy.
RAD and PolicyLink compete for the same funders and the same space. But they say the same thing: a "new founding," drafted by people no one elected, ready "before the window opens."
RAD is perhaps simply more honest about how that window will open.

If I had to guess the mechanism, it will be another act of political violence done against a prominent and sympathetic conservative figure who is accepted by both Woke Right and the mainstream Right.

I’ve been in the Army since before 9/11. Served under many secretaries.
Only in the past 18 months have I experienced:
>politicians warning me not to follow illegal orders
>billboards outside military bases telling me to report war crimes
>the media attacking anyone who has a positive thing to say about the man, and defending anyone who hates him
>stunning volume of leaks from senior officials trying to undermine him, and the lionizing of the leakers by the press
>being called a war criminal myself, hundreds of times a day
>a sustained media narrative portraying virtually every firing or senior officer removal as a “purge”
>public efforts by retired officers, advocacy groups, and political figures to mobilize service members and military communities against administration policies
>influential “Americans” publicly cheering for Iran
This is just to name a few. I’ve NEVER experienced anything like this before. And it’s becoming abundantly clear that the concerted effort to divide the military from within was stunted when Hegseth took over. Anyone desiring color revolution needs control of the military. That’s color revolution 101.
Is it starting to make sense yet? Now you see the obsession over him in particular. It’s not a coincidence. And it damn sure isn’t because of his culture war.
It’s because by all objective metrics, he runs a military that snatches rogue leaders from their beds, destroys entire militaries, and successfully mobilizes assets to save one downed pilot in the middle of enemy territory by building an Air Force base… in the middle of enemy territory. Secures the border, dominates the hemisphere. Hunts drug cartels. The list goes on.
He is by all meaningful accounts, effective at wielding the machine. And that is why they drool at the thought of removing him.
In years past you’d be hard pressed to find a junior Soldier who knew the name of the cabinet secretary above them.
Every one of them knows Pete Hegseth.
Every one.
