What happens when a billion humanoid robots enter the workforce? Some forecasts envision massive robot deployment that could transform labor, productivity, and the global economy. But will robots replace workers, or create an entirely new wave of jobs and industries?

Hey @grok , is this true? Marathon Fusion claims they recently: 1. Turned mercury into real, stable gold at 10x CERN’s 2025 record 2. Enriched isotopes in the world’s most powerful plasma centrifuge, beating a 40-year Soviet record 3. Are building a fusion reactor in San Francisco for record power density How solid are these claims? And will this affect the gold price in the near future?
Last month, we demonstrated high-rate alchemy: turning mercury into real, stable gold, beating CERN’s record by a factor of 10. Last week, we enriched isotopes in the world’s most powerful plasma centrifuge, beating the Soviet record that stood for 40 years. Now, we’re building a fusion reactor in San Francisco to achieve record power density.

In 2012 Chamath bought a huge bag of BTC and called it schmuck insurance against fiat debasement. In 2021 he called Bitcoin the "most profound iteration of the internet." In 2023 he proclaimed crypto is dead in America. Now he says it will go to zero. But we have to remember a lot of people are working towards Q-day. Strategy alone is working on it. Before it became a BTC treasury company, it was a software company. BlackRock, which basically has the keys to the universe, holds BTC now. Will Chamath be right or is he just shilling his Zcash bags?
Billionaire investor Chamath Palihapitiya says Bitcoin will eventually be hacked by Ai 🤖 and go to zero.

Scared AI is going to take your job? Nvidia’s Jensen Huang says the narrative about jobs is “almost precisely backwards.” His case: AI is a “five layer cake” (energy, chips, infrastructure, models, apps), and every layer is hiring. More software, healthcare, and legal jobs. Energy, construction, and manufacturing are booming too. He’s right that the opportunities are real. But they won’t go to everyone equally. The winners will be the people who learn to work with AI, not around it. (Source: Yahoo Finance interview, GTC Berlin)

Government websites across Europe and beyond went dark on Wednesday because of critical bugs. PHP’s developers rushed out urgent fixes for flaws that had been hiding in the code for years until AI dug them up, and told everyone to update right away. The panic was real. I can picture developers racing to patch like it’s a Hyrox event, sprinting from one server to the next. But there’s a silver lining. AI found these bugs, which means the bad actors don’t automatically have the upper hand. The white hats got there first, and they won this round.

Solana Alpenglow is now live on mainnet. What it actually does: - Kills TowerBFT and slashes finality from ~12.8s to ~150–200ms - Replaces on-chain vote transactions with direct BLS voting (Votor) - Frees up massive block space previously eaten up by validator vote spam - Gives true irreversible, Web2-level settlement for trading and payments TLDR: Solana was fast, now it has afterburners. Plus validators save ~60% on vote fees, and less block congestion means lower priority fee spikes during hype runs. Send it.

BlackRock just launched a robotics ETF (RBTX), targeting companies that use intelligent machines to automate repetitive work in manufacturing, transportation, and more. It’s at least the 6th AI-linked ETF to debut in the past month. Others include Global X’s LLM ETF (LLMA) and a Defiance fund focused on bonds of AI infrastructure companies. They had me at robots! 🤖

AI could transform humanity in two very different ways. It may accelerate drug discovery, improve medical research, and help tackle diseases, but the same technology could automate jobs across entire industries. Are we heading toward a healthier future, a jobless future, or both?

Banks are scared. The OCC finalized the GENIUS rules and dropped the crackdown on indirect stablecoin yield, meaning your third-party rewards, exchange kickbacks, and DeFi loops aren’t dead. Issuers can still pass the bag to you through partners. ABA is crying about "deposit flight" because they know nobody wants their insulting 0.05% APY while banks gamble your money away. They wanted the government to choke your yield so you’d keep begging them for breadcrumbs. I'd also be scared if somebody was trying to take away my profit margin by giving customers their money's worth.

🚨CZ says to be extra careful when visiting websites in the next few days, because some of them are not up to date with security patches. That is good advice and TBH something we should be doing on a daily basis. End-users are actually one of the easiest targets.
Call me paranoid, but be extra careful visiting ANY web site in the next few days, as some web admins are not always up-to-date with security patches. Two vulnerabilities (CVE-2026-109618 and CVE-2026-109619) reported for PHP, the web programming language, affecting servers running popular apps like WordPress and Magento, with patches released October 21, 2026 after details leaked early. Exploitation was confirmed in the wild soon after disclosure, prompting quick WAF protections and patching by IT teams, as unauthenticated attacks could turn visited sites into vectors for credential theft or device exploits. Stay SAFU!

Moscow has agreed to resume US-mediated peace talks with Ukraine as soon as mid-November, following a meeting between Vladimir Putin and US envoy Steve Witkoff in St. Petersburg. The Kremlin says the technical discussions will focus on postwar security arrangements, following Russia's release of detained American teacher Stephen Hubbard. It is about time this war in Ukraine stops. Iran, wen?

Every financial system is a trust trade. Banks ask you to trust a ledger you can't see. Blockchains ask you to trust one you can. Neither is perfect. The difference is who gets to audit it.

“Almost certainly bubbles” in AI, says Citadel’s Ken Griffin. But he points to 1999: the internet was the great bubble, and it’s more a part of daily life today than ever. He just wishes he’d kept his Amazon stock. He’s right. Every great transformation has its bubble moment, but the companies that survive define the industry for decades. Same deal with AI.
