It’s incredibly obvious what they’re doing here. The reason they insist on this framing is that they’re laying the foundation to blame potential progressive losses on liberals. They do this *every time*. I believe they think they’re being coy but it’s pretty transparent 🤷🏼‍♂️

I mean this in the most polite way I can possibly say it, but if you’re voting for republicans because you’re afraid children are getting gender reassignment surgeries, I fear you are the dumbest fucking person on the planet.

Cenk Uygur running an anti-semitic ad that is a harmful distraction to Abdul's campaign in the final week while Obama does turn out rallies for him is a nice capstone to #THEDISCOURSE.

I'm sure she's deleted them, but this person posted several whiny THIS SUCKS BUT WE HAVE TO SUPPORT HIM videos during the drip drip of Platner scandals and she's now like "here's why it would be bad for Democrats to obtain any power right now." Beware of left wing grifters, folks
Real talk - I worry that winning will paper over our party’s bigger problems and slow us down from doing deeper interrogating and work necessary to build long-term sustainable power, let alone what we need in order to win in 2028. amandalitman.substack.com/p/…

Real talk- I worry about losing and not being able to hold the most corrupt, fascist president in history accountable. I guess we are just built differently.

If Trump actually goes through with some big midterm stealing stunt next week, every conservative organization involved should eventually be investigated, shuttered, and reduced to the studs, whether that’s Claremont, Heritage, or whatever. The right walked away from J6 feeling like it could essentially stage a coup with minimal consequences. That has to change if this happens. The repercussions have got to be brutal for everyone involved, or it’s just going to keep happening.
🚨🚨🚨Trump just made another comment about how his “two big monsters” will make history next week. “So, I wonder if I should say this. I’d like a little advice from my two people, my two big monsters. My two monsters are going to be the biggest stars in the country in a week.”

One more on a serious note: It's fun and all to clown over Platner but fuck Tommy, fuck the Pod Bros, and fuck everyone who continued pushing Herr Oystergrupenfuhrer after the tattoo story. That no one has faced any consequences for it should tell you how unserious prog media is
I don't get the thinking behind mealy-mouthed answers like this. Seems like you just annoy everyone.

Republicans say they're going to go "all-in on trans issues" and now Democrats are infighting about trans issues. See how this works? For the GOP, it's not just about their anti-trans ads, it's also about intra-Dem infighting. Try to uplift some of the many brilliant trans people on this website who absolutely have been guiding Dems on how to thread this needle. One piece of good news? This infighting is way less intense than it could be. Most of our infighting has become less intense. Take that, GOP. Oh, and the current infighting on trans issues is at low levels PRECISELY because of the trans people I mentioned above--especially trans women, who have a real target on their backs. Be grateful to them. I certainly am.

I’ll take a shot at answering one of these good questions. These poor young people are not dying for "no reason". They’re dying because Vladimir Putin's Russia invaded Ukraine and Ukrainians don’t want to be murdered. I hope this helps.

I've knocked on thousands of doors over the years. Thousands for myself as a candidate, and thousands for candidates at every level - from Obama in 2007 to state and local candidates - as well as issue campaigns. As a candidate, I kept each interaction under a minute. When I was an Obama Organizing Fellow in 2007, I spent several minutes with everyone I made contact with. Voter contact comes in many forms, each with its own purpose, approach, and time commitment. But whether you're doing persuasion, deep canvassing, or 15-second GOTV rapid contacts, it's always going to require a greater investment of time and energy - and deliver infinitely more value - than sitting on your bitter, lazy ass firing off a snarky tweet just because you don't like the people actually putting in the work. Thank you to @DigitalGroundG and every one of their volunteers for putting in the work.
This event was focused on "deep canvassing", which aims to get longer interactions with voters. You knock less doors because there is more training and more time talking to voters. Contact rate was also 19%. Don't listen to keyboard warriors about organizing!
