Glaring omission in @JeffcoPH policy, ignoring science with no end game. A significant amount of grades 9-12 have prior C19 infection plus 60-70% are vax’d (>70% for athletes), yet you still mandate masks in school & sports. #scienceisntpolitical #letkidsbekids

@jaredpolis @GovofCO is hands off w/emerg order cancelled, but how about an answer re no spectators at 7v7? @CDPHE guidelines at least allow mask flexibility but we are at mercy of local PH @bouldercohealth @broomfield @jasonvahling1 . Be like @dcsdk12 & @TCHDHealth! #copolitics

But no spectators allowed at the HS 7v7 tournament? What gives @jaredpolis @GovofCO @CDPHE @CHSAANow @CHSAA @EmpowerField FOR THE LOVE! Give kids their life back like you have everyone else! @coloradopreps @LetCOPlay1 @GregcollinsPT @coloradoparker #copolitics

Wow.@GovofCO @jaredpolis @cdphe @CHSAA @CHSAANow there needs to be an immediate explanation for this. Absolutely 💯unacceptable. Just Bc HS 7v7 doesn’t make as much money as @AllStarGame ? You should all be ashamed. STOP PUNISHING KIDS FOR GOD’S SAKE! @coloradoparker

Curious why no fans @CHSAA ? A packed All Star game, Avs playoffs, Red Rocks, etc are okay but none for kids’ sports? Hoping there is a legit explanation. If not, the double standard is completely unacceptable. @LetCOPlay1 @coloradopreps

Colorado Preps is very excited to announce that very soon our website will return to free status - thanks mainly to a generous sponsorship of Colorado Farm Bureau. A new design is also coming before the return of HS Sports next month. More news coming soon.

Thank you @heidiganahl for having @hymcallister on the show and your support of LetCOPlay!
I always love hearing how Coloradans identify problems and then find solutions. Helen and I spoke about her mission to save children’s sports from future lockdown policies that are overly broad and cost children the opportunity to compete.

Parents have been desperately seeking some normalcy for their kids for a year now and there is still only @bypaulklee and so few others in the media covering the mental health crisis. Is mental health not science? @CDPHE @LetCOPlay1 @CBSDenver @ArielleOrsuto
Sunday @DenverGazette @csgazette @gazettepreps- Great that Naomi Osaka's mental health is important. Now do Colorado's "pediatric mental health state of emergency" that's been mostly ignored, elsewhere, for 15 months: denvergazette.com/sports/pau…

News courtesy of Cory Forgue at KLMR radio in Lamar - Chris Medina - the AD at the school - has a letter on his Facebook page and so does the Lamar booster club.
Disappointing. Once again @CDPHE puts an agenda before our kids. No interest in finding solutions that support Colorado’s high school athletes.
Colorado Department of Health has made the final decision to shut down the Lamar volleyball program for the year. The Savages were the 4th seed in the 3A tourney and had not dropped a set all season but they have to drop out of the state bracket.

We have heard from two sources today that the Lamar volleyball team has entered quarantine and their status for the 3A state tournament is up in the air right now. The Savages are 16-0 on the season and have won all 48 sets played. #copreps
A great read!

As they should. @CHSAA has so many deficiencies and their handling of the season changes was horrible. Don’t know many people happy with them, rural or metro districts. @LetCOPlay1
Rural school districts, frustrated their voice isn’t heard, are considering a split with Colorado’s statewide high school sports association to create their own. #COPreps dpo.st/3aGwryC
