Replying to @ShannonTaylorVA
@ShannonTaylorVA has spent 14 years as a top prosecutor in Virginia. She’s put violent criminals, drug traffickers, and abusers behind bars, and taken on corruption every step of the way.
Now she’s running to take on the corruption in Washington and lower costs for Virginia families.
That’s why @American_Bridge is all in on Virginia’s 1st District.

Did you know @JMUFootball is 7-0 and unranked in the @AP_Top25? In the modern era (1989–present) that a team that is 7–0 and is completely unranked has never happened.

White House Press Secretary is an important job — one that requires a security clearance with an FBI background check. Or at least it used to.
Katie Zacharia failed the California bar, then spent years calling herself a lawyer anyway. She also spent two years at a Beijing law firm.
How did the FBI miss this? How did Kash Patel? Her credentials are a joke, and unfortunately the joke's on all of us.

The war in Iran has pushed gas past $4 a gallon. U.S. servicemembers, including two Virginians, have died.
Rob Wittman voted six times to support this war — and he owns the consequences. Yet he refuses to even call it what it is.

The same man hired both Curt Cignetti and Bob Chesney at JMU.
So, I called him up.

When we started responding to Russia’s operation against our data centers, and when our strikes reached Yandex’s data centers, it suddenly became a little easier to breathe on many social media platforms. A lot of people noticed it. There was less hate, less division, and fewer provocations.
Because there were fewer bots. And it’s pretty clear where those bots were coming from – if they disappeared when Yandex went offline. This proves, again and again, that Europe is not the source of the problems. Europe is not the one making everything more difficult.
Most importantly, we need people in America, every morning, when the day in Europe is already moving toward evening, to really see what is happening. To see the truth.

It's official! @CookPolitical just moved our race to a TOSS-UP.
For nearly 20 years, Rob Wittman has looked out for himself while Virginia families paid the price. That ends on November 3rd.

Three things Democrats should do right now:
1) Give Washington a good power washing
2) Raise the minimum wage
3) Ban social media for kids under 16
A friendly reminder to Democrats who choose to punish other Democrats.
This is the true threat. Keep your eyes on the prize. 👇🏿
Governor @iamwesmoore is a force of nature.
He’s been tirelessly crisscrossing the country for candidates fixated on improving the lives of their fellow Americans.
He knows democracy’s recipe for success is simple: put good people in, get good outcomes out. 🫡
Let’s go @ShannonTaylorVA!
Democrat @ShannonTaylorVA is leading incumbent GOP Rob Whittman 50% to 46% in a new @washingtonpost poll.
Wittman won in 2024 by 13 percentage points in a district that stretches from the Richmond suburbs up through parts of coastal Hampton Roads.
This is a Trump +5 district. @dccc @HouseMajPAC @vademocrats
The Bulwark Founder @SarahLongwell25 says higher voter turnout does not benefit Democrats anymore: "People who used to be Democrats on economic policy have now in many ways started to prioritize the social policy... And there's just more of them."
Unbeknownst to some, I was one of those college kids.
As I entered Richmond politics, we didn't always see eye to eye.
But I never doubted his love for this city and the Commonwealth. He showed up. He believed. He invested.
Rest well, Jim. 🙏🏾 #RVA
23 years ago, Jim took a chance on a bunch of unknown college kids who wanted to make this schools a better place. His work, kindness, and forethought made @VA21Action a reality and the Commonwealth a better place. I’ll always be grateful for his trust and insight.
A commonsense cleanup.
Washington needs a good power washing top to bottom. Five things I would do today to end corruption in Washington across all three branches of government:
1. Ban all stock trading.
2. Ban all participation in prediction markets.
3. Mandatory retirement at 75 years old.
4. Mandatory blind trust for individuals with a net worth more than $1 million.
5. Ban all foreign gifts to public officials, including foreign investments in their businesses or other entities.
