Once again, my wife spent the past month Halloween-maxxing so our kids could homemade-costume-mog.
Final reminder of this tonight!

A Dark Song is one of my favorite movies, and I'm not a religious or spiritual person; it reaches beyond the Faustian to the Odyssean, and must be experienced.
Thorogood frames his analysis aroundโ + aware that he has a partly non/post-Christian audience.

Nearly a decade later, I finally watched @LiamGavinโs 2016 indie-horror classic, โA Dark Song.โ
Creates such terrible dread โ and redemptive meaning โ with such economy of film language! Trusts the audienceโs intelligence at every turn.
An absolute master.
A Dark Song is screening tomorrow at Cinematek in Bussels. Much thanks to @AnneBillson
