Pretty amazing that Lynyrd Skynrd's one song slagging off Neil Young is better than Neil Young's entire catalogue.
It's the 'ne' at the end of Japanese sentences. There's no way to translate it, because it's not actually as though well-spoken Japanese people of all ages say the equivalent of 'huh' or 'innit' at the end of every sentence.
I'll never forget the moment when I first heard they were melting our ice cream.
BREAKING:
This morning’s cyberattack against supermarket fridges and freezers has now spread to Belgium, Sweden, Luxembourg and Estonia.
The hackers increased the temperature up to 50C. Food worth millions of euros has been spoiled.
Experts warn that such cyberattacks on supply chains and logistics can constitute a threat to national food security in many Western states.

Le véritable créateur du rock c’est Pachelbel. Notamment grâce à cet « obstinato » qui enroule la mélodie autour d’une basse rythmique récurrente.

here's my AI cybersecurity apocalypse white pill.
I've been fixing bugs in leftover human code non-stop for over a year now. literally cleaning up years of human slop.
at the same time, i've been building fully AI-written complex software which I regularly review with AI the same way that I'm reviewing the human code.
the difference is like day and night. good models don't just find the bugs, they also produce far fewer bugs.
the difference between a big project written exclusively by modern frontier models and one written by a dozen engineers is just incredible.
all those little obscure mistakes that humans overlook are mostly absent. if you take care of your project, the code quality can be great and there's almost no accumulation of weird edge cases that sneak in inevitably over the course of multiple years of working on a code base with a team of humans.
makes me very optimistic about the future.
The best film anyone has ever made about the occult.
A Dark Song is being screened in London on Thursday for Haloween (ish). I'll be there doing a q&a.

Deliberately bringing in an extra hour of darkness in the evening when it's getting darker anyway is Disney villain levels of tyranny.
