🚨 CENTRE-BACKS BARCELONA COULD HAVE SIGNED THIS SUMMER:
🇮🇹 Alessandro Bastoni — €70M
🇦🇷 Cristian Romero — €30-40M
🇫🇷 Castello Lukeba — €60M
🇭🇷 Luka Vušković — €54M
🇩🇪 Nico Schlotterbeck — €50M
🇵🇹 Gonçalo Inácio — €45M
Ronald Araujo left. Álvaro Cortés left. Barcelona brought in NOT A SINGLE centre-back to replace them.
A MASSIVE mistake by Deco and Barcelona's sporting management.
Just as we praise Deco when he gets things right, we must also hold him accountable when he gets things wrong.
Failing to strengthen the defence this summer was a serious failure in squad planning, and Barcelona are now paying the price.

One of the greatest Test tons, one of the greatest Test wins .

Tactical awareness is an innings WIN
Temba Bavuma showed zero tactical awareness here. He had a massive lapse in judgment at a crucial moment. Instead of declaring 40 minutes earlier to chase four quick wickets before the close of play, he chose to chase a personal milestone. He completely forgot that we are severely pressed for time. Now, Australia will comfortably bat this out for a draw, and then they'll end up beating us when we get to Cape Town.
