From @TheAthletic: If the NFL truly acted in the best interest of Jalen Hurts, one of its most decorated and well-known players, an investigation should substantiate that, our columnist writes. The league and the Eagles should have nothing to hide.

Our two oldest dogs. Birdie had a little fall and broke her hip at the weekend.
Since then her best friend Biscotti won’t leave her side. She visits her in the hospital and stays with her.
Dogs just know ❤️

Replying to @_malikmustapha
@_malikmustapha plays the game like @DonteWhitner used to. It’s very jarring for people who prefer arm tackles and gentle pushes out of bounds. But that’s how the safety position should be played at an elite level.
Playing Safety in its pure form requires imposition of a genuine element of fear. That space back there belongs to you. Receivers and running backs need to feel that. Intimidation is part of what you need to do in order to be the final point of the defense.
@RonnieLottHOF was one of the best of all time. Whitner followed his lead a generation later. Mustapha is doing it now.
It’s not about hurting people. It’s about hunting the ball, and protecting against intrusion into a space that everyone needs to know belongs to you.
Elite safeties implant themselves in another player’s memory. You can’t do that pulling a guy down by the tail of his jersey.

Birdie is a lot brighter eyed today and alert.
She’s eating and drinking well. She is much more comfortable.
Our vet team wanted to observe her broken hip. If I’m totally honest I thought she would be long gone by now. 🤞

Just a year ago his beautiful mother was living on the streets of Thailand after a life of being used for breeding. We found her scavenging around for food.
To see Sienna now in Wales, on daily walks in the forests and being spoiled rotten is the thing of absolute dreams.

Amy Acton's estranged mother lost custody of her children after her second husband was charged with rape and indicted by a grand jury. In court, Amy's mother stood by her husband instead of her twelve-year-old daughter. They haven't spoken since that day in court, nearly 50 years ago.
Politics has become such a disappointing sport of outrage-fueled mud-slinging, personal attacks targeting families, and blatant lies designed to divide. Candidates should debate the issues and focus on convincing voters that their plans and leadership will make life better. That's what politics should be about: bringing people together. Stunts like today's attack ad against Dr. Acton are beneath anyone seeking to lead. nytimes.com/2026/10/20/us/po…

The cost of everything from groceries and gas to housing and childcare is going up because of choices made by Donald Trump's administration.
Those choices have consequences. So do elections.
The midterms are our chance to elect leaders who will fight for the people.
Over the next week, I will hit the trail in Nevada, Mississippi, New Hampshire, Wisconsin, and Georgia to campaign for some of those incredible leaders.
I'll see you out there.

A Republican commentator thought this race was locked up. Then he watched Andy Harris throw a full-on tantrum during our debate, and another one after it.
His words: “I don’t think that anymore.”
This is now one of the most talked-about races in the country. So, thanks, Andy.
And thanks to the Maryland Caucus podcast for their coverage.
Now let’s finish the job. Chip in today to help us beat Andy Harris at secure.actblue.com/donate/da…
