Ronaldo's teams have won a tie without a single goal or assist coming from him in 3/5 of his UCL titles.
2008 semi vs FCB 0G/0A, 6.55 rating
2016 semi vs MCI 0G/0A, 6.82
2016 final vs ATM 0G/0A, 7.8
2018 semi vs BAY 0G/0A, 6.78
2018 final vs LIV 0G/0A, 6.61
Barca has never won a two legged UCL knockout stage without Messi G/A post 2006. He was never a UCL KO ghost, he just had to do way too much
1. Flick is actively exposing Defenders Weaknesses and is making them look worse.
2. Our Defensive Problems at the Moment are more often caused by bad Pressing and OOP Structure, than just Bad Defending.
3. We still definitely need a CB and Fullback to Defend Transitions.
PSG and Bayern are exposed a lot, but they have Upamecano/Pacho and Nuno Mendes/Hakimi/Davies to make up for it. We have Balde, who got outsourced and that’s it. A System Change won’t happen, because Flick won’t leave. So we need to do 3 Things in and until January.

Rivals invented grade 3 sprain to miss 3 weeks of international break and prepare for big games. Raphinha can fuck off if he goes to Brazil again while half fit.
Lewandowski had 20 UCL G/A (2 per Game) and scored in every Game bar the Final. He scored 6 less Goals than Kane for Club, while scoring 10 less Penalties. And he actually won the Sextuple with and for your Club, while Kane only had 1 good UCL Season for now. Have some Respect.

🚨🚨🌕| 𝐁𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐊𝐈𝐍𝐆: Frenkie de Jong has been in sensational form during Barcelona’s recent training sessions, even SURPRISING his own teammates with his PEAK physical condition and ability to beat the press with the ball.
His ability to carry the ball out from the back could prove crucial for Hansi Flick’s side, especially after Barça struggled against the man-to-man pressing of PSG and Real Madrid.

Exactly what many thought already. Mbappé is getting Points for being a great Talent running out of Time and Lamine is losing Points, because “He will win in the Future”. Dumb Award with dumb Voters, going against Criteria.
🚨 Italian journalists, Paolo Condo, explains why he voted for Kylian Mbappé as his Ballon d'Or winner:
"In the absence of an indisputable candidate this year, I made my choices by looking beyond just this year.
By placing Kylian Mbappé at the top of my list, I hoped to prevent a player as EXCEPTIONAL as him from retiring without a Ballon d'Or.
Harry Kane is a wonderful striker at every level, but he has probably also benefited from his career to decide this Ballon d'Or, tied to his 33 years.
We have the feeling that Lamine Yamal will soon start winning the Ballon d’Or regularly and that his rival could be another Frenchman, the wonderful Michael Olise."

How I would fix the Ballon d'Or:
- Ceremony at the end of July
It's a season based award so it makes no sense for it to be held in October when the new season has already began.
- Top 10 instead of top 30
30 nominees is way too much it just creates confusion and it feels like slop. The 10 best players of the season makes it more prestigious and easier to decide.
- Voting in the middle of the season and at the end
It's difficult for most people to remember performances form a 10 month period so have a vote in December/January and in June/July with the 2nd part of the season being double points or 1.5x.
- Clear criteria
It feels like everyone votes based on their own version of what the Ballon d'Or should be...
1. Eye test
2. Trophies/achievements
3. Importance for the team/big game performances
- Less voters
Have a selected amount of people who genuinely watch the games and are qualified to have a valuable opinion instead of random journalists from each country that watch 2 games a year.
If you had the attention span to read this, you are already more qualified than most people voting for this award right now ❤️

The most disappointing thing about Flick’s setup is despite him always stressing the press is our most important defensive tactic…. Our press actually ain’t THAT good. For the most part, players are willing to run and press intensively, but it’s nowhere near coordinated enough
We don’t value Frenkie enough. Every Time he’s injured People write him off, just for him to instantly become Important again, after the Injury. He’ll do it this Time again and we’d really miss him if he wasn’t here anymore. He’s Also doing this while receiving so much Hate.

🚨 Luis de la Fuente: “Lamine Yamal will win many Ballon d’Ors. He just has to stay calm, he’s a fantastic player”.
