Re-watched the first episode of Roswell (after at least 15 years).
Too bad the main character is played by Shiri Appleby, and Katherine Heigl only has a supporting role. My theory on this casting decision is that teenage female viewers would be turned off if they had Heigl play the main character because they'd be jealous of how beautiful she is, but they can imagine themselves being the more ordinary-looking Appleby.
This is the Trump name change that I fully approve of.
When the next Democratic president undoes all of the Trump name changes, I hope they keep this one, but they probably won't.

Newly released data on the Harvard College class of 2030 say the class is 43.2 percent Asian-American, a record high and more than double the level when Students for Fair Admissions first sued Harvard alleging racial discrimination in admissions.
The U.S. Supreme Court ruled in 2023 that Harvard was unlawfully using race as a factor in admissions. Since then, the numbers of Hispanic and black students in the incoming Harvard classes have dipped, while the numbers of Asian-Americans have soared.
I agree with this. Is Trump going senile? He’s older than Joe Biden was four years ago.
I have no idea why renaming AI is so bizarrely important to Trump. Nobody cares about the name he chose. Nobody is using it or will use it. And it’s not even technically accurate because “super intelligence” already had an agreed upon, widely adopted definition. This is the weirdest political hill to die on. It gains you nothing. Not a single ordinary American in the country, anywhere, cares deeply about making sure people say “SI” instead of “AI.” We are days away from a major election and this bullshit is the focus? Just baffling.

Irene Miller, 50, was taken into custody Friday as she stepped off a plane. Two days earlier, one of her children had called 911 after a dumbbell fell on her 9-year-old brother's head.
When deputies arrived at the family's Kissimmee home, they found the children without adult supervision and had the injured boy taken to a hospital, where he was treated and released. Miller now faces four counts of child neglect.

The Haredi in Israel don't get this. They think that all they have to do is pray and God will take care of them. No, that's not how the world works, the Muslims will genocide them and all the rest of Israel unless Jewish Israelis work together to build a strong military, and also build a strong economy which is needed to fund a strong military.
By shirking their responsibility to do anything useful in either the military or economic spheres, the Haredi are paving the way for the next genocide of the Jews.
That's why I can't support Benjamin Netanyahu, because he placates the Haredi moochers who are only able to live safely in the Holy Land because of the real work being done by the non-Haredi.
