Yesterday, I found a chink in the armor of a pro-Palestinian antizionist march in downtown Boston. One, middle-aged woman (me) with an Israeli flag blew the march to pieces.
I wasn’t planning on leading a hate march with an Israeli flag. My friends had decided it was too dangerous for us as a group to do a counter demonstration against the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) at the steps of the Massachusetts State House in downtown Boston.
So I went by myself and for the first twenty minutes, I stood on the other side of their demonstration. The two hundred or so Fedayeen watermelon people scoffed at me. One spat on my shoes, many gave me the finger but mainly they laughed at me. I stood in front of ten apathetic Boston police officers.
But many Jews gave me the thumbs up and even some non-Jews clapped and took photos.
The marchers then proceeded down the main street of Boston, Beacon Street, with their loudspeakers, screaming “from the river to the sea” “Intifada Revolution, and “No to a Jewish state.”
It was then that I saw the chink in the armor, that is the American or let’s say the Bostonian obsession with the freedom to march, which the antizionists smartly exploit.
I realized that the Boston police would allow me to march directly in front of the terrorists with my Israeli flag.
The optics were fantastic. It looked like one brave Israeli woman, proudly holding her Israeli flag, was winning the battle against two hundred hated-filled terrorists behind her (I think the terrorists were completely stunned by my brazen act).
I fight in the style of the Hunger Games not The Matrix.
In Catching Fire, Wiress and Beetee realize the Quarter Quell arena is designed like a clock. Beetee uses the Capitol's own arena lightning trap to blow up the forcefield.
I single-handedly turned the anti-Israel march into a pro-Israel march. One person, by locating the chink in the armour.
Many Israelis came forward to ask me if I needed protection. Jews cheered me on and gave me a thumbs up.
And many non-Jews clapped on my behalf.
The non-Jewish Zionists, they were out there too. They watched me.
They were inspired by bravery and conviction.
Fight the way you know how. Find the chink in the armour.

UNRWA was established with a legitimate purpose: to provide humanitarian assistance to Palestinian refugees.
But according to @UNWatch Executive Director @HillelNeuer, the agency has long since become an obstacle to resolving the conflict – perpetuating the refugee question rather than helping to resolve it. Neuer traces the problem back to UNRWA's earliest years, arguing that recent revelations about Hamas operatives among its staff are not isolated failures, but symptoms of a much deeper problem. “It's not a bug. It's a feature.”

Judea & Samaria is not Mississippi. This analogy explains your inability to understand why the two state solution was never a solution for the Palestinians. This is a national conflict and not only an endless narrative about picking olives. The Palestinians of Judea and Samaria have rejected peaceful solutions. This should be understood by every Jew that has a moral compass.

Earlier today, a number of harvesters, accompanied by dozens of individuals, arrived to conduct an uncoordinated olive harvest in an area near Beitar Illit. Harvesting in this area requires a request to be submitted to the relevant authorities in advance of the start of the olive harvest season. This coordination is necessary to ensure the security of the area and maintain public order.
Due to the security risk posed by conducting an uncoordinated harvest near an Israeli community, IDF soldiers, Border Police forces in Judea and Samaria, and officers from the Judea and Samaria District Police arrived at the scene and detained those present.
The landowner was informed that he must coordinate the olive harvest on his plot of land and was provided with the relevant contact information to arrange a harvest at a later date.
It should be emphasized that authorized olive harvests have taken place and continue to take place. To date, approximately 100 coordinated harvests have been conducted across Judea and Samaria, yielding many dozens of tons of produce, with security provided and coordination by the security forces, without any unusual incidents.
In areas designated for coordinated harvesting, only harvesters will be permitted to enter, solely for the purpose of harvesting.
As in previous years, security forces are working to facilitate a safe and orderly olive harvest season, with a firm commitment to enabling harvesting without unusual incidents or interruptions, alongside their ongoing defensive and counterterrorism missions.

The hate that I’m getting on X as an American rabbi who defends the sovereign Jewish state, and who expects Palestinians to take responsibility for their eliminationist ideology is staggering.
It challenges their rotten morality posture. So may be it 🇮🇱🫶
I’m a rabbi and a third generation New Yorker who stands for truth. There was no genocide in Gaza. The fallacious 74,000 statistic you quote was provided by the terrorist Hamas Health Ministry, and includes the war criminals who committed genocide against the Jewish people on October 7th. Israel will forever by the sovereign Jewish state of the indigenous Jewish people (within which 2 million Arab Israelis live in equality).
Today, Brad Lander, rabbis, and other New Yorkers accompanied Palestinian farmers during the olive harvest. For that, they were detained by the Israeli government.
Harvesting olives is not illegal. The occupation is.
I am thankful that Brad has been released. But other New Yorkers remain detained, and they must be released immediately.
The same Israeli government detaining them has committed a horrific genocide against Palestinians, killing more than 74,000 people over the last few years alone.
The detention of these New Yorkers must end. The occupation must end. The genocide must end.
Thank you, to the IDF, for removing the Israeli-American joint list for progressive naivety.
I’m a rabbi and I challenge you to understand the root of the olive season problem in Judea & Samaria. That is, the Palestinian rejection of Jewish sovereignty (with no right of return or refugee status). Every rabbi and every Jew should be acknowledging that this is the central issue. Each day that you do not, you endanger the Jewish people and the state of Israel. The rejection of the Jewish state as the indigenous homeland of the Jewish people is an eliminationist ideology. This is the ethnic cleansing of the BDS movement that you support, as a Jew. This is abhorrent and morally indefensible.
When the government of Israel and its military and law enforcement are arresting rabbis and volunteers who have journeyed 6000 miles to protect Palestinian farmers harvesting olives and not the violent terrorists harassing and attacking the farmers - it tells you all you need to know about this government's moral compass.
The time is long past for every rabbi and every Jewish leader - and every Jew - globally who cares about the future of the Jewish people and the values on which we were raised to speak out and take action.
This illegal and immoral occupation must end. It's not just the fate of the state of Israel at stake, it's the soul of the Jewish people.
I’m not a big fan of performative politics but thank you São Paulo for standing up for the truth of October 7th, for Jewish women and against sexual violence.

It’s like a bad dream that keeps reoccurring every year: olive season in Israel. Each year, American “progressive” Jews arrive in Judea and Samaria to “protect” Palestinians and announce the current antizionist libel against the Jewish state. Many are non-Orthodox rabbis and public figures who hold the power of public opinion. Today, it’s @bradlander who claims to bear witness to the ethnic cleansing (not) of Palestinians. The “olive season annual bad dream” is symbolic of an unsolved political struggle in which the victimized Palestinian is weaponized to continue the struggle to dismantle the Jewish state. It is, in fact, the center of the BDS narrative that every day works to delegitimize the Jewish state through the white colonial settler lie. Its rhetoric is about the “occupied” West Bank (olives) and sanctioning goods produced there but its goal is to delegitimize all of Israel as a foreign entity. The olive groves represent the indigeneity of the Palestinian, and the Jewish residents of Judea and Samaria, the white colonizers. The “annual olive season bad dream” is a reminder to the Israeli government that there is no Palestinian partner that recognizes the sovereignty of the Jewish state (renouncing the fictitious right of return and fictitious refugee status). By now, the Israeli government should have learned how to solve problems when there is no partner. To act unilaterally to establish its borders, to keep its citizens safe, and to deradicalize the Palestinian population. Problems only get worse if you don’t solve them and the absence of a partner is no excuse. Let’s hope that a new Israeli government will recast the annual “olive season bad dream” into a new dream worth having.
I’ve been released from IDF custody with a “warning,” apparently because of my public profile (I told them I wasn’t even a congressmember yet, just a nominee).
But several dozen rabbis & participants harvesting olives with me are still in detention. For harvesting olives. They should all be released immediately.
To be clear: Palestinians face far worse consequences every day. These detentions by the IDF are one more attempt to undermine Palestinians’ right to harvest their olive groves, travel on their roads, and live in their homes. Yet one more element of escalating, and very clearly state-sponsored ethnic cleansing.
We’ll update on their status as soon as we hear.
