Bizarre incident.
Citizens cleaned Ane Park near Bengaluru on their own by crowd funding.
When they came next day they saw poster of BJP MLA Ashwath Narayana taking credit for it.
This made them furious and they are calling this out.

On 1 November 2024, a concrete canopy collapsed at a railway station in Novi Sad, Serbia, killing 16 people.
> People demanded answers, transparency, and action against those responsible from Bro
> Bro took no interest in it
> Students started protesting across Serbia against corruption and Bro’s government.
> Students came together and created an electoral list called “Student List – Students Are Winning.”
> Today, Bro’s alliance lost the parliamentary election.
> Now, Serbian citizens are storming media houses accused of spreading Vučić bro’s propaganda and attacking news anchors.
This tells us that if you’re a journalist in any country, please don’t be a government mouthpiece. Otherwise, you’re going to have tough days ahead.

📺 “We reported events one-sidedly for years”: Serbian TV apologizes to viewers after Vučić's party loses the election
Radio Television of Vojvodina (RTV) opened its news broadcast with footage of celebrations following the Student List's election victory — scenes it had failed to show the previous evening.
“For years, we failed to fulfill our duty. We kept silent, turned a blind eye, reported events one-sidedly, and failed to ask the necessary questions. For that, we owe our viewers an apology,” news anchor Goran Eror said.
Following the controversy, RTV's acting editor-in-chief Nenad Čačić resigned.
A similar incident occurred in Hungary, where state television also apologized to viewers after Viktor Orbán's election defeat.

Adani is suing me for ₹50 crore, apparently valuing the damage to his reputation at that amount.
I contend that wealth acquired through alleged wrongdoing does not confer credibility or reputation.
My valuation of that reputation? ₹0.
And if the reputational damage is zero, the compensation should be zero.
₹50 crore demanded. ₹0 deserved.

Brazil tried Bolsonaro, saw the damage, and brought Lula back.
India tried Modi, saw the damage, and kept voting for him.
The difference? Education. An educated society recognises its mistakes and corrects them. An uneducated one defends them.

When you like Lula or hate him the fact that we won’t see Bolsonaro gift all of Brazil’s wealth to Trump’s friends has to be good news

If Lula wins, remember he will have won overcoming a very clear and organised campaign of voter suppression…

Lula won because the EVMs in Brazil are audited and are transparently counted. Lula won because the SC in Brazil do not take orders from rich oligarchs and the master.
I wish we had the same in India. But that is too much to ask.

When Bolsonaro was disgracefully invited as Chief Guest for our Republic Day Parade in 2020, several of us in Mumbai held a protest at Churchgate Station against an abandonment of “Indian values” by a government that turned a blind eye to his environmental destruction, his homophobia, his deep links to organised crime.
“Aarey, Amazon, queer ladhai, Modi-Bolsonaro bhai bhai” was the slogan coined at that protest. Today, as the son of one far-right bigot bites the dust in Brazil, much to the relief of so many who were terrorised under his father’s last regime, there is hope reignited for change across the world.
Congratulations, Comeback King @LulaOficial. Here’s hoping we can invite you to a Republic Day Parade in New Delhi soon.

In the end, Brazil really did teach the United States a lesson. They jailed the fascist, and then they defeated his political heir.
