I have significantly changed the NPB cards: You now have a compact card. Z-COn% per pitch type is added. You can find an overall tool summary on the bottom left, and the radar visualisation to understand the player at a glance! Aim: More professional, more shareable.

One of my early, bold 2027 predictions: Emmanuel Rodriguez finishes the 2027 MLB season with more than 25 home runs and an OBP north of .350. He has the eye, the power, and the glove to become a mainstay in that Twins lineup. IF, and that's a big IF, he can stay healthy.

Drew Dasmussen's 2026 was an overall career-year. As a starter, he hit career-bests in: - IP (172 IP) - ERA (2.67) - FIP (2.81) - K% (26%) - BB% (4.8%) - WHIP (0.91) And he currently has a 1.29 ERA through 3 Postseason starts as well. Definition of an ace.

29.5 ft/s top end sprint speed from a dude who hits balls almost 500 feet is absolutely insane lol I know he’s risky but god I want Sato to excel, he’s such an exciting talent
I see a lot of varying data points from Teruaki Sato. Here is his OFFICIAL NPB-licensed data: 117.0 MaxEV 93.3 Avg. EV (Sat over 94 much of 26’) 74.6 MPH Avg. Bat Speed ⚡️ 55.3% Hard-Hit% 18.4% Barrel% 35.7% Chase% 29.5 ft/s Max Sprint Speed

Hitting prospects with a BA > .300 & BABIP < .335: - Josue De Paula (LAD) - Caden Bodine (TBR) - Ryan Sprock (TOR) - Angel Genao (CLE) - James Triantos (CHC) Plenty of prospects that made their debut. Sprock was an 8th round pick and hit .306 at A and .307 at A+.

Teruaki Sato 🇯🇵 is set to join MLB. The 27-year-old hit .359 with a 247 OPS+ in the first half, propelling him to the Triple Crown and likely back-to-back MVPs. His power is undeniable, but the biggest questions are an elevated chase rate and defensive inconsistency at 3B.

Here is some additional pitch-specific data, derived from game logs and various data sources. The data will differ from the official NPB data, which is not readily accessible to create automated cards. (i.e. difference in Chase% for example)

Teruaki Sato falls squarely between Murakami and Okamoto across multiple key tools. It makes for a highly intriguing profile when projecting his MLB upside and contract. Raw Power 1. Murakami 2. Sato 3. Okamoto Contact 1. Okamoto 2. Sato 3. Murakami Plate Discipline 1. Murakami 2. Okamoto 3. Sato Defense & Versatility 1. Okamoto 2. Sato 3. Murakami Run 1. Sato 2. Murakami 3. Okamoto Youth 1. Murakami 2. Sato 3. Okamoto
With Teruaki Sato’s transfer to MLB incoming, I’m very curious to see what orgs are interested in his high risk profile. There’s been some comps to Murakami in the Thump+K% department, but Sato chases at a far higher clip without the extreme BB rates. (📊 via @YankeesFocus)

Had tons of fun discussing Teruaki Sato’s MLB potential, and once again thank you to @yakyucosmo for having me on! Also includes deep dives on must-know names like Tomoya Masaki, Kota Tatsu and many more. Look forward to doing this again soon ✅

There is one qualified pitch from a starter that has a Whiff% over 50%, and it's Chase Burns' slider. He threw it exactly 1,000 times, and the data says enough: - .154 BA - .245 SLG - 51.9% Whiff% - 47.6% K% The next closest is Jesus Luzardo's sweeper (47.6%; Whiff%)

Wehiwa Aloy had a fantastic first full season. He impressed at A+ w/a .300/.371/.503 slash line with 14 doubles & 15 HR in 84 games, but handled the move to AA extremely well too, hitting .261 with 6 doubles, 10 HR and a mangeable 28.5% K%.
