Cledith “Bud” Arthur was charged with incest involving his own 16-year-old daughter in January 1974. A grand jury indicted him in March. The sheriff couldn’t find him. That was all public record when Donna Stearns married him in December 1975 and brought 9-year-old Amy into the house.
Part I showed the 1978 rape indictment involving Amy and the flight that followed. Part II shows the pattern started years earlier.
